Everyone says 3 is the worst but apart from 4 it's the best one of the PS3 trilogy.

I like the stealth better, the melee was better, the setpieces are great, the puzzles are better, the music was great, I preferred the characters and throwing back grenades was awesome.

I love 1 but that's because I played it when it first came out back in the day when it was awesome. 2 blows it away. I still think Uncharted 1 hasn't aged as badly as everyone says.

The new Tomb Raider games are ok but I honestly got really bored when playing Rise of the Tomb Raider and stopped playing it.

I liked the upgrading and skills but the setpieces, action, stealth and platforming I don't find that good. And just the areas in general aren't as fun to explore.

Well after rewatching Part 5 I've warmed up a little bit on it.

Some kills were far too unnecessary though. Like they introduce characters and two minutes later they get killed. It's too much. And alot of kills happen offscreen and you only see the aftermath. There's alot of creative kills here but it's all very censored. I imagine the MPAA cut most of it. I'd love to see an uncut version if they still have the footage.

I really like just how crazy and batshit insane the characters. The movie flows along at a fast pace and there's always interesting happening onscreen even if the introduction of certain characters is completely pointless.

Also I couldn't see the ending because somehow my blu ray disc (which has a few very, very minor scratches) completely freezes the movie during the scene with Tommy, Pam, Reggie and imposter Jason in the barn....

Anyone know a fix for light scratches?

Currently up to Friday the 13th part V

So far I'd say 4 > 2 > 3 > 1

All extremely fun and entertaining movies. I'd say 4 has the best kills, effects and the characters I feel are likeable.
2 is also great.
3 has some really cheesy 3D shots and bad acting but it's still alot of fun and the kills are good.
The first one is a pretty competent horror film. The kills are also great here.

From what I hear in Friday part 5, Jason isn't the killer but it's where the downhill-ness of the franchise starts.

I've been playing the old TR games on PS1 and they're so much fun to play when you get used to the old controls.

The ambient atmosphere and isolation still sends chills down my spine even today. The exotic locations and old tombs are fun to explore and the level design is masterfully crafted. The levels are open and huge so it's fun to explore and solve the level puzzles. The music is also great. The very little music there is helps give the areas this feeling of awe and mysticism. I love how the platforming is and how everything requires player input. Not like games of today where most platforming actions are automated. It made the games feel much more intense and you had to calculate jumps correctly and take your time and levels truly dangerous as a result.

The Tomb Raider games on PS1 and the Legend Trilogy were like this.

This is what the new Tomb Raider fails at. Is capturing this feeling. Combat, story and graphics are really the only thing that is does better. Controls as well perhaps but I much prefer how the old games played.

So far I've seen the 1980 film and Part II.

I think Part 1 is generally a respectable horror film. The rest start delving into the "so cheesy it's awesome" category.

These movies are badass. Too bad these movies got censored too shit. We'll probably never see the original kills in all their glory.

First two films are classic and badass but the second half of the 3rd film sucked ass.

Turned into some disney bullshit. The first half was pretty decent though. And the thunderdome was pretty awesome. Basically when he meets the kids is when it severely goes downhill.
