For as much as people have complained about Reigns/Goldberg, their buildup has been damn good while playing into both men's strengths. Their contract signing hit all the marks without going overboard.

My feeling is that Ben, like he said, intended to play it closer to the vest (I think he said that a bit ago anyways) and then he got a bit excited in topic and felt that it may be helpful to reveal flavor split early because if I have "kill bart gain power" as a vanilla role I am assuming simpsons are scum, yeah. Or at the very least if they arent the scum team that bart is anti town. So alerting town of flavor split/potential SK has benefit even if there isn't as much basis as I mentioned in my thoughts

There is also just "yolo" factor

It was like ten posts ago! Right around the time you were reminding people of the time I killed Para. I'm beginning to think you aren't paying attention fully.

Which may have something to do with the fact that two separate times in this game you thought I claimed Bart.

I remember responding to the question hours ago not recently

but I admit I am not paying super close attention. I feel day is decided, I want my flip and to reaccess after that honestly.

But my intial reaction to that first thing, the vanilla that improves and open claiming, would be in hopes of getting reactions to try and narrow down who it is I need to attack. There is lots of +ev moves there
-If you end up having a couple of scum on the line and you can figure one of them may be the one you need, you have weighted odds for a lynch.
-if there is a name or flavor scanner around it helps incentivise them to help direct a lynch in your favor should they get what they need
-scum probably doesnt bother you at all while that person is alive
-when that scum does die then it would be a good idea for a watcher role to target you because now you are likely a scum target

thats just off the top of my head why I think its +ev
