Nah, i wasn't like that as a kid. When I failed, my dad got pissed at me, not the teacher. Also, I never would have talked to a teacher that way.

just the way these high school kids are, going to mommy and daddy right away, and trying to act like they know laws when they get their feelings hurt

also, the parents are just as bad. when their kids are failing, getting mad at the teacher instead of the kid. also, getting mad at the teacher when the kid disrespects them and demanding to know what the teacher said/did.

if I was a parent, I would be embarassed to have a kid acting that way and apologize, but theres no accountability any more

seriously, always trying to threaten legal action or going to mom and dad every time they don't get their way... i never would have done that as a kid

Well, I've known her since I was 9... Im in my 30's now.

Also, I don't hate the guy. She didn't leave me for him and he didn't steal her, he came along years after. Just thought it was funny how some people compared me to him and how he was supposed to be so perfect, and now this.

I have nothing against either of them though, but I'm not going to contact my ex. Tried talking to her online when she was with that guy and I was ignored. She did wave at me when see saw me after that.

But it's just whatever. We had our good times but that's in the past.

So, as far as you know, there's a possibility that either one of them was responsible for them drifting apart. Your OP makes the presumption that the new man must have dropped the ball somehow since their relationship did not live up to expectations.

But isn't it just as possible that your ex may have messed up the relationship as well?
Maybe even driving the guy away?

im not holding onto it, but my mom used to love getting me upset with this. when i was fresh out of high school and going to college and working at McDonald's, she would love to talk about how he was making twice as much, had his own apartment (with 4 room mates) and was going to school too and 'kicking ass' (in her words). She loved seeing me get mad, the madder I would get, the bigger she would smile. My mom is a bitch.

Not because I'm laughing at her, but because everyone always talked about how great he was. I don't know the situation between them, but obviously he wasn't. My mom liked rubbing it in my face too that she was with him. They were together for at least 6 years, maybe longer.

In a way, it kind of feels like revenge because I get to say I told you so. Hehe. I'm married now though, so it doesn't matter. Just found it amusing. But I can't help but wonder why she's not with Mr. Perfect any more...

Not going to lie, I am a little racist, I admit it.

Starting to get annoyed with my wife because she speaks a different language and I don't. She also speaks English and sometimes, when we are in public, she talks to other people in that language. She and her sister do that all the time too. I've told her it was annoying in the past and that I wanted her to stop.

Yesterday, we went to a food truck and she started talking to one of the guys there in a different language and so I finally got pissed and started talking shit to her. It's annoying because I don't know if they are talking shit about me, plotting to kill me, flirting with each other, etc.

Anyone else feel the same?

Lol I haven't paid money to see one in theatres since part 4. I Netflixed part 5 and am going to probably Red Box part 6.

Not true. I agree that they probably won't make a better one than Part 2 unless they somehow get Furlong and Biehn in the same film and make a bad ass movie about the war between the humans and machines, but it won't happen.

Not asking for it to be perfect, but they should at least take it seriously and not over flow it with a bunch of not funny jokes and lame villains. I'd be happy if they just brought back the T1000 or T800 as the main villain.

there was nothing special about the story or acting, IMO, and Edward Furlong was shit as John Connor.

the action and special effects were great, and still hold up, but that's about it.

Lol Furlong was the best one. Made him seem cocky and rebellious. Stahl was good, but a little too goody two shoes, Bale was okay, but whispered a lot, and then that guy in part 5... well let's just forget he exists.

I thought it was gonna be pretty good till I saw a trailer commercial on TV earlier today where Sarah is describing herself and goes "is that good enough of a resume?"

I cringed pretty hard and just muted the rest of the trailer.

Not to mention the cute little innuendos to the first film (Sarah saying, "I'll be back" and "metal mother fuckers")

Based on the trailer, it looks like it will just be a bunch of hipster humor, while using old characters in the background to try and promote new ones.... in other words, Star Wars Episode 8, but with Terminator characters.

I think I will wait for Red Box. Only point of interest for me is seeing Edward Furlong return.

I thought it was great all around, I had very few gripes with it. Agreed on it being very sad. I don't think what happened to him justifies his actions, but it's very sad to be reminded that this kind of stuff really does happen to people a lot more than we would like to think about or admit.

Yeah, true. That was the hard part. It didn't justify his actions, but in a way, there was a lot that he had no control over. It really made him look like an under dog.

My wife was crying after she saw it. Great movie though. Joaquin Phoenix did a great job. I won't spoil it.
