The no build mode is surprisingly really fun. I'll also admit it's the only battle royale game, so far, that I had the highest win rate at (probably like you said majority of the fortnite playerbase are pubescent kids). Granted, I'll fully admit I suck at building (which does require a bit of a learning curve) and I get sick and tired when I get a good ambush on someone they start building a castle around them.

Yea no build mode is what got me to try it out, surprisingly a lot more fun than I expected

models wise they dont fit in super well with the rest of the factions IMO, they were really there to compete against the gundam models that were big in the 90s. lore-wise they're space commies & too nice for the universe they're in. gameplay-wise they're too shooty which can be not very fun for melee focused lists

Try dry brushing, will make your models look 10x better. & if you havent already, definitely use some washes as well. I like the bases a lot, normally for my model I just glue on some rocks and call it a day lol

I like to think of myself as a pretty serious gamer. I've played all the "hard" games, such as Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, etc and I've destroyed them all. They weren't even remotely a challenge for me. I don't know if it's my quick reflexes or my tactical thinking, but if you put a video game in front of me, that game is going to be beat. The only thing that is getting in my way is a dead controller battery (and even then, I always carry backups at all times).

Lately, I've been getting into more physical activities to challenge me, as video games just do not cut it anymore. I've tried both team sports and solo activities, such as running or rock climbing, and as expected, I've dominated in each of them. However, I do find these activities fun as a change of pace from my usual gaming.

So when my new (Puerto-Rican) girlfriend Michelle (pronounced Mish-elle)) asked if I wanted to try sex, I jumped at the opportunity. I've never had sex before (why waste my seed?) but I figured it would be a great chance to see if this is the ultimate test for my skills. I know lots of men brag about their sexual prowess, so I wanted to see if this was an adequate challenge for someone like me, or just another disappointment.

easily one of the best video games I have ever played, cant remember the last time a game has drawn me in like this, probably not since I was a teenager.

combat is tight, the world is so fun to explore, there are tons of great weapons and items to customize your play, boss battles are (mostly) challenging and fun, and I find the lore and worldbuilding very interesting.

i also appreciate the quality of life + accessibility features elden ring has, it's (IMO) a really hard game but it's something anyone who is up for a challenge can play. i love that fromsoft basically eliminated the long boss corpse runs, multiplayer is easily available for anyone who wants to do it, spirit ashes, etc.

it is honestly hard for me to think of complaints. the one thing that comes to mind would be the lack of any sort of quest log, i find a lot of the quests are overly obscure and basically impossible to do without a wiki. wish there was something like the journal in Morrowind. i also dislike how there are a finite number of respec items. you should be able to do this an unlimited time imo, that way you can try different builds and people will stick with the pvp

i want to play the game but im worried about the amount of text/reading required. i would be playing on ps5 and i always have a hard time reading text on the tv screen, i think its a combo of my eyesight getting worse + developers never properly scaling text for 4k tvs. anyone know if there are text size/accessibility options for this game on console?
