It's more of a disadvantage for taller runners, and depending on the race the shorter distance makes up for the tighter turn. This is what most people said: it's more of a problem on indoor tracks. You can even be tested for weed after visiting America and jailed if you fail the test (for example). The fucked up thing is they didnt tell the snake owner that they were actually gonna kill the snake and dude broke down crying when they did. that's fucked up. I never knew that (seen the movie 20+ times). Apocalypse Now (1979) definitely shows an actual water buffalo being ritualistically slaughtered it's fucked up.
