I don't think tattoos are an issue. It's a personal choice that people make. People out there are allowed to have expression. My only thing for people who get tattoos is this. Just go to someone who is properly licensed and ideally has an autoclave to disinfect their tools. I've seen enough people who get infected tattoos (usually due to nonsterile water used with the inks or bacteria on the instruments) that its worth just paying more to avoid that. It's really hard to treat a staph or strep infection that has been inoculated into the dermal layer of your skin.
