And if Khonshu or even just one of the other gods had pressed Harrow further instead of letting him sidestep the question about reviving Ammit, the show would be over by now. I mean it's true to Khonshu's character that he would rather throw a temper tantrum than patiently explain himself, but I don't think the scene was written well enough to express that.

All the CG in the car chase was awful, and I don't usually care about that sort of thing. The suit-up was also meh but the mummy costume is growing on me.

Isaac seems like a real good pick for the character, and the possibility that this will take place mostly through Steven's eyes is intriguing.

My favorite part was just how bad Marc seems to be at keeping his existence hidden from Steven (if that was the goal). Like ok the goldfish thing should have been a safe bet, but he hits on the coworker just because? And then when Steven starts hearing noises in the apartment, Marc just calmly asks him not to investigate further, like that's gonna make the situation better.

The only folks who seem to have any fun with it are Adult Swim.
