Nothing wrong with being a "nerd" as a nerd is someone who knows in depth about particular subjects. and knowing about certain subjects allows you to have a job or on a path to job and a potential career. Unfortunately , schooling past high school is expensive. Perhaps aim for certificate(s) or online learning sites such as Udemy.
