Though speaking of raid storylines, I highly reccomend doing the Heavensward raid story at some point. It's based around Alexander and is pretty cool. There's a Normal mode that still shows up in queues so it is still doable. Stormblood's is whatever but has a ton of FF fanservice.

Binding Coil of Bahamut also has good lore but unfortunately this was before they split raiding into Normal and Savage so the only way to experience it now is to get a group together to steamroll it at max level.

Alexander boss themes are so fucking great especially for Prime and Cruise Chaser

Anyway still loved KH3. Yeah it had flaws but so did KH2 before FM made it way better and from the sounds of it, Re Mind will be doing something similar.

It's in my running for GotY with DMCV probably being the main thing beating it.

It's also notable that this is the ONLY dungeon in the game (to my knowledge) where that victory screen does not involve anyone in your party celebrating the victory. Even though the traditional Final Fantasy victory music plays, the mood is dour.

Yeah the Deepcroft storyline is great just for how out of the fucking blue it is. They take such a throwaway scene during early leveling that is just there to say "hey don't be a prick in parties" and escalate it like mad. It also KEEPS GOING after Deepcroft if you decide to do PotD. There might be even more tied to it after that but I haven't done Floor 100-200

FFXIV's story actually gets pretty hype after the post ARR giga chain and into Heavensward. Haven't gotten to Stormblood but heard it takes a little dip but still neat and then Shadowbringers brings it into overdrive even better than Heavensward. I'll have to see when I get to it.

The raids and elite super dungeons also have hype stories. Alexander and Coils of Bahamut were awesome and had tight music. Heck one boss is basically a super sentai giant robot and your party does a fun backs turned to the explosion shot
