I'm curious how they want you to check in on vacations but offer no remote work options.

I check in on vacations more than I'd care to admit, and it's really not that bad. Taking 5-15 minutes to check up on email or take a call to help out the team isn't a big deal in my book

Also, when they ousted Blizzard's president amid the sexual discrimination lawsuit which included among the very many other things, pay discrimination they replaced him with two "co-leaders" - a man and a woman. And allegedly paid her less than her male co-leader!

And of course he's doubling down and the board released a statement maintaining confidence in him. There was an employee walkout over all of this though idk if it changes anything. Apparently the company is on the hook for $292m if they fire or replace Kotick.

I don't understand how "employee revolt and destruction of company reputation" is not "cause" but I'm no employment lawyer.

Nutribullet smoothies take a little bit of effort but honestly not that much. Dump in a handful of spinach, peel a banana, pour in some milk or alternative, then a spoonful of oats. From there you can put in pb, honey, protein powder, cinnamon, or whatever else you have on hand. Blend for 20 seconds and you've got breakfast.

Just for a bit more context. They were playing that "heads up" game where you have a word on your head and the other person gives you clues to guess it. The word was "Glinda" and he used the word "princess" when she isn't a princess as pointed out above. The argument spiraled out from there.

I work for one of the largest scientific companies in the world and on our own company forums there are people talking about how they're not afraid, risks outweigh the benefits, etc etc. It's pretty disheartening.

But it does at least give me a list of people to avoid when it comes to exploring internal opportunities!
