Sure he exists for two maps in Lyn Mode if you need help there, but one of those is utterly trivial anyway, and in the main game he has a meaningful chance of death before you can even recruit him, so if you want to use him he can force game overs on you for no reason (granted, Jaffar can do this also, as can Nino to a lesser extent if for some reason anyone cares about her beyond recruiting Jaffar) Actually that brings a question to mind, what rules are you using for side chapters? --- Meow! |

Panthera posted...Sure, it leads to small parts of the population having disproportionate amounts of power tbh I don't think the American system would be as bad here, it's an issue down south because they have so many sparsely populated states in the middle that have fairly similar priorities and thus will vote together a lot. We don't have the same kind of thing except sort of in the Atlantic provinces, but their influence is government is already mainly just a function of being a good place to campaign because every vote you get is worth a lot more and it's easier to travel between them and Ontario than it is to travel across the west. You'd be a lot harder pressed to create a majority without representing multiple regional interests, at least. I'm not saying we actually should use their system or anything though, just that I can see why it has its merits (at a time when people tend to only focus on the flaws it has). I'd like to see some sort of electoral reform in Canada, but I can't really decide on what. Hard to find a way to balance respecting the majority of the country with not leaving the rest irrelevant. Would be nice to fix how much variance there is how many seats there are per capita though, it's understandable for the territories because what choice do you have with them, but it feels pretty weird to realize I live in a city that has slightly more people than Nova Scotia but fewer seats --- Meow! |
