I've always wondered why so many people warn others not to use Ouija boards too. The only thing that's happened to me that was a bit odd was a disappearing pentagram in a cul-de-sac.

Around 1995 when this house was still being built, a friend and I ran into each other on bikes and we hung out in this area a while.

There was a box of street chalk by a bunch of construction stuff so we used it to write stuff on the road. We ended up drawing a giant pentagram using almost the whole space of the cul-de-sac and we wrote some jibberish characters in and around it to make it look cool.

The very next morning, not 14 hours later, the entire drawing was gone. No trace of it. No construction workers in sight. Nothing seemed touched. We left at dusk around 6pm and I was back there with more colored chalk from my mom's craftroom by 8am.

I wouldn't really put Tarot and Ouija in the same category. Tarot is just a fortune casting device. There's a lot of misconceptions about what it is and how it's intended to work. It's more akin to a random number generator than a form of spiritual communication. I've always found the I-Ching preferable, and it's usually explained better when you learn it. I actually wrote a book on it a long time ago.
The Ouija is a different creature entirely. It's a form of evocation. The best way I've heard it described is that it's like cracking a door to a completely unknown location. It could be an empty room, or there could be something there that's been waiting for ages, willing to say or do anything for a chance to get out. It's a gamble, and the less you understand it, the more the odds are against you.

I think you grossly overestimate the amount of nazis out there. I live in an area that is not exactly racially diverse, and in my 41 years, I've only ever met one.

I used to. I still would, but I feel embarrassing shopping there now. People give me the side eye there.

I think you're giving too much credit to the "training" the military provides. From all of the military and law enforcement I've known over the years, I can safely say, they're some of the least qualified to be handling a weapon. Stupid in, stupid out.

From what I can tell, it's actually physically impossible to get anything above a 2* gem in the game without spending money. If it was just campaign based it wouldn't be a big deal, but PvP is a big aspect of the game. There's a bunch of videos out there of people maxing out their characters as far as they can, then jumping in a PvP lobby and their entire team getting wiped by a whale in under a minute.

You need six 5/5 gems to max your loadout . . . technically. I guess from there you can rank each gem 10 times with duplicates. Only cost me $17,175 imaginary dollars to get my first six gems. I'm sooo lucky!

You're criticism of Trump is his attempt to subvert an aspect of the constitution. At the same time, you applaud any subversion of the second amendment. It's not really a good argument when you treat one aspect of it as sacred, and another as inconsequential. My view is we treat it all as gospel, or nothing at all. There will be negatives either way, you just need to decide which one you're willing to live with.

It's certainly the color with the most potential for abuse. It also has one of the highest skill caps to use it properly. That's where it gets a lot of hate. Less skilled players end up seeing how good it is, so they try to make a build, and end up stuffing it with 80% control. That just results in pissing people off more than getting a win. Honestly though, blue/black and blue/white are way more nasty than any mono blue deck I've ever seen. The only two decks I was forced to dismantle because everyone simply refused to play against them, was a blue/white Stasis deck, and a blue/black Migraine deck.
The Migraine deck in particular was brutal. I won a 6 man battle royal with that thing without taking a point of damage. I was a bit of a pariah after that one. Nothing about the deck was cheap or anything, it was just very efficient. Kinda bummed me out pulling it apart. A victim of its own success.

I grew up on a very odd boulevard. The whole street was very average smallish single family homes, except for an enormous mansion at the end of the block. Indoor pool, tennis court, garage full of classic cars. You name it, it had it. It was like this enormous castle that loomed over the entire neighborhood. Pretty much a constant reminder that we were woefully poor compared to them.

I loved it. Reminded me a lot of RE4. I love when games actually reward you for replaying. The only part that can suck is the doll house. It was absolutely awesome the first time through, but it gets very tedious with each play through.
