I don't like them because I can't help but imagine how painful that must feel. I also don't really want to see a bunch of blood and gunk oozing out. I am fascinated by videos of people scratching their dandruff or scalp psoriasis, though.

I deliberately cycle through the types, just so things don't get monotonous. I don't cycle through them in lockstep, just grass/fire/water in some order, then grass/fire/water in some possibly different order, etc. For the games I've played, it's been

Fire Red: fire
Emerald: grass
Platinum: water
Black: water
Black 2: fire

The next game I play is probably going to be Heart Gold with grass. You can see I try to pick the type that matches the "color" of the game/box when I can. >_> I suspect it would feel weird otherwise.

Yes, in retrospect it doesn't make much sense why that Family Dog cartoon got its own game when the cartoon had only 10 episodes, all shown in the summer. I can only assume that they commissioned the game before they realized the show wasn't going to be very good, and then decided to release the game anyway.

Yes, but the younger the kids she teaches, the bigger a red flag it is for me. I worry that a woman who likes little kids will want to start popping out babies of her own sooner rather than later.

I don't think it's worth getting angry about this since it won't affect at all what you need for tournaments. Also, I believe we've known for a long time that Wizards might print non--tournament legal versions of cards on the Reserved List.
