I was just saying that this article I read (which I can't find now) said that wargames by the US military showed that the only way to keep a nuclear attack on the US from ending with all human life on the planet dying out was for the US not to shoot off any nuclear weapons in response. If so, I'd rather have some people around to hopefully take up the legacy of America and Western Europe than no people at all. That's just me.

If Russia does does drop a nuclear bomb on us here in the US, I wonder if we should refrain from dropping a nuclear bomb on Russia in retaliation and say we're doing it to keep the nuclear strikes from escalating to the point where the whole planet becomes uninhabitable. Of course, we can't let Russia know that ahead of time.

I saw something online that said that in wargames carried out by the US military, this was the only way to keep a nuclear attack from ending in humanity dying out, but I don't remember where.

I'm surprised today's word was even a legal guess. I didn't seriously think that was going to be it; I was just trying to think of anything that would have "r" and "u" in different positions and not reuse any letters. I probably wouldn't have thought of it if it wasn't for Zelda, though I do know it's a real currency.

Sweden and Finland aren't members of NATO, but they're modern enough and close enough tied with Western Europe (and by extension the U.S.) that I think we should stop Russia if it attacks either of them. And since all the Baltic states are in NATO, we pretty much have to stop Russia if it attacks any of them. I hate to say it, but Ukraine doesn't seem important enough to defend militarily, especially since doing so could easily start a nuclear war.

I think she's a milf, at least. Maybe she'd be impossible for me to be around for too long.

I also recently found that you can't guess a certain five-letter word that's a synonym for "crack" and that also denotes a sound effect, even though those meanings of that word are perfectly innocent. I feel that removing offensive words could easily get out of hand, if one offensive meaning is enough to get a word banned.

If you're referring to when I had just the same three green letters for all six guesses, I think it was irate/crane/brake/drape/grave/erase. I've been using irate first for a while now; I don't remember the other words or their order exactly.
