Fun fact, I think that would have been 13 years ago, since that was when I first uploaded stuff to youtube and Earthbound stuff was my first upload. =D

One thing I remember about Board 8 GTAIV times was when we did the big firetruck race, and then didn't even finish because all we did was spray civs down the entire time XD

That was Kuge! We actually hung out a few times when we both lived in Vegas. He's married up in Michigan with a baby on the way, I believe. Time flies.

How's it going

I remember you too =D It's been....rough the last 8 or so years. Reconnected with my Father, who then died two weeks later (after having not talked to him for 15 years). Then lost my mom a year later. Did get married, had two kids, now divorced. Lost two dogs, my 20 year old cat, tried to commit suicide a couple times. Now living back at my old house, struggling, but start a great job next week and hoping to turn things around. TMI? Oh well lol.

One post that I definitely remember you making was in some kinda dating/sex topic, where you shared that you dated a 16-year-old when you were 25. No one cared at the time (and I'm honestly not sure if I care today) - this was at least ten years ago - but I still recall that post as an example of how quickly popular opinion can change in the days of social media. If anyone admitted the same thing on Board 8 today, condemnation would probably be immediate.

Not trying to dig up old "dirt" on you or anything, but that's one of the singular Board 8 posts I remember most in the past 20 years. If anything, I should thank you for that!

Yeah. That was a learning lesson for me. She had told me she was 18, and I had literally just come out of a really terrible break up. When I found out the truth from her, I ended it immediately and we never talked again. Definitely dodged a bullet on that one. That does remind me of that one user (can't remember who it was) that said they were on an episode of To Catch a Predator and had the entire board believing it for months though lol.

Yeah, seems like more and more people are still getting into ffxiv including in this very board.
That's a pretty nice and brisk pace you've got with the ME series. Was that your first time through? I am also intrigued by just haven't had the chance to play them.

I played the trilogy as each game came out initially, but this was the first time I've replayed them since then. I went through and did every single little thing I could too lol.

Thanks! Left WoW after 16 years lol. Finally got hooked into FFXIV. Took a small break from that and ended up streaming Mass Effect 1-3 over a two week period, ending that run a few days ago. Now messing around with Andromeda (wanted to play the multiplayer since I loved 3s so much and Bioware chose not to put it on the legendary edition).

One big thing I do remember was a user (I can't remember their name now), that had made this little Mecha game that we would play in a chat room.

We'd all pick a mech, and each mech had different capabilities.

Can't remember a lot, but I remember we had a lot of fun with it.

Yeah I remember the old name. I think that was part of why I ended up leaving. Everyone had like, 37 alts and would constantly rotate them and it just got to the point where I didn't know who was who anymore without having a spreadsheet out lol.

Honestly?

I was never really part of anything with the board. I never got to participate in the countless Mafia games, I only really had a few core friends from the board that I played on XBox live with, I never had any posts that blew up big or anything like that. It was easy to just kind of disappear lol.
