Yesterday in DS3, I got Black Flame Friede down to a single hit of HP on my SL60.

I was out of Sunny D and rushed in for a running attack, counting on my Tears of Denial. I mean what could go wrong?

She caught me in her execution grab attack and it was instant death because of the second scythe that hits at the same time.

Normal/easy mode has:
Greatshields, great magic shield
Dagger+ Hornet ring + Slumbering Dragoncrest ring
Ranged magic with attack boosting equips
Healing miracles
Player summons
Retreating and abusing the limit that enemies can follow you
Alluring skulls and Yearn are great for DS2, especially the DLC
Dark Wood Grain ring in DS1

Blue skin? There's a coincidence. Mine was a regular rape nightmare though. I'm a straight male but my brain thought it was a good idea to give me an incubus. Just want to defend my masculinity by saying this was a highly unusual experience for me.

Laberge studied lucid dreams so I suppose the book has become one of the classics. However, nowadays I'm sure you can find most of that information online and help on forums.

I've only had like two lucid dreams. I haven't made a conscious effort to encourage them. Sleep paralysis sounds scary and I wouldn't want to risk it.

I bought and read "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" by LaBerge & Rheingold.

During that time I also experienced weird stuff like out-of-body experiences, false awakenings, hyper vivid dreams, and sleep paralysis.

I guess I eventually lost interest because dream control and staying calm wasn't something I actually got better at. Like just because I had success, that didn't mean I really learned how to accomplish things reliably. Might be an unconscious self-esteem thing, I dunno.

Despite all that I feel sad for having lost the enthusiasm. Nowadays, I can't imagine myself falling asleep with that level of intention. I don't have the discipline to keep a journal either.

I guess crisis actors are a conspiracy I can believe in. No, I'm not going to say who is an actor and who isn't. It's been used as propaganda in the past but I know nothing about these people. I believe there are genuine people who give testimony but the truth can be complicated at times.

Not everyone is cut out for news or press conference and that poses a problem. I suppose a lot of them don't want to talk about the tragedy they experienced. Some don't have the camera appearance, communication skills or a careful tongue to dance around a pending lawsuit. I mean it would make sense to sometimes substitute real people for actors.
