This could have been me but I had Cook the last two years and was tired of being disappointed so I drafted Gurley over Cook. Hasn't stopped me from going 7-0 too but still!

Straight up? Mm probably not but the record complicates matters since you really do need a win. I'd definitely take Fournette over Bell. But trading for Fournette will just delay your RB bye week problem as Fournette has his bye coming up soon. Could you try trading Zeke and for Fournette/Bell and a lesser RB, someone in the Royce Freeman range maybe?

Alternatively, I'd just stay pat. After getting blasted by everyone for running like fewer than 10 times or whatever I'm feeling good about the Bears getting Montgomery going on the ground (or that's just the optimistic Bears fan in me...). Duke Johnson seems to have a solid floor of 5 points and I don't like Sanders' matchup against the Bills. Or just play one of the Rams backups since they're going against the worst run defense in the league this week.

Oof. Yeah no accounting for injuries but even with the Rams not being as good as last year, Kupp was producing. Still think he'll be fine but the Johnson injury does suck. And Gordon doesn't seem like he's going to get going either. =/

Literally adding Markstrom from waivers and dropping Dubynk (first goalie I drafted) instead of earlier FA acquisition Mike Smith. I hate goalies in fantasy.

Was going to start Lazard in my Flex with all these byes but saw that MVS and Allison were playing which prompted me to say fuck it and start both Johnson and Edmunds. Looks like that was a good call even if Johnson did nothing!

Kupp is a Top 5 fantasy WR. You still have a Top 5 RB option in Chubb and will be getting Kerryon in the deal who has been pretty solid this year and you won't have to deal with his Bye week while Zeke still has his coming up. If Gordon can get going I'd say that's a solid lineup. So yeah, don't think that's a crazy trade at all.

I'd also probably try and sell high on JuJu and see if anyone bites. I'm not high on any WR who's going to be playing with a 3rd string QB regardless of how talented they are.

Well, I was talking about my run offense with Pittman being a potential bust signing but that's also true of my run defense! Those guys shredded me on the ground. =/

And it's actually 4 games since I've already played the Packers twice (lol Madden scheduling)!

But this is crazy. Winning the games I thought for sure we'd lose and losing the games I thought we had a chance in. Defense is playing really well right now! Offense...needs some work...especially in the run game apparently wtf.

Lmao at anyone who was saying we'd be better off with Daniels at QB. Dude sucks.

Yikes at this combo. Interesting that you guys can make this work though.

I've always found goalies to be a crapshoot and usually end up with less than stellar goaltending on my teams even when I draft one early. With limited pickups though I'd probably roll with 3 goalies even if I'm not confident in any of them. If I decided to go with 2 I'd definitely be targeting goalies early to make sure those categories are good to go. Heck, whether going with 2 or 3, I'd probably be targeting 2 goalies early since an 8 person league should leave plenty of valuable players around for later in the draft

It's even better when you add ATOI so that you can't just pick up some 4th line scrub who plays like 5 minutes a game just to hit people and take penalties! We also have Blocks as a category which makes defensmen a little more valuable as well. Some of the more valuable players in our league are like less than 5% owned in most leagues lol

I too benched Godwin in two leagues. For Curtis Samuel in both actually. One of those teams still scored over 150 points and the other put up a very decent 115 with Pittsburgh's defense still to play. Comfortable wins in both leagues so glad that mistake didn't cost me!

Fuck, what an awful game by Gurley. I was feeling pretty good about my chances heading into Sunday night but now I'm only up by 10.4 heading into Monday night and he has Allen Robinson left to play. As a Bears fan, I'm hoping the other Bears players get in on the action instead this week...

Also, I hate my work league. I feel like I drafted very well this year and last year and I'm going to start 0-3 again. My team is good! Ryan/Julio stack, Kittle, and Chubb are a good core and my complimentary players are fine too and my opponent scored 175 this week! Last year I was probably the only person who drafted Gurley and missed the playoffs (it was my first time doing a 10 team league though but still). Grrr...oh well, at least I made some money in daily fantasy today.

Oh hey we were just there! That place is such a tourist trap, jesus. Anyway, we only ate at two places. Alamo Steakhouse was pretty good, we both had the steakburger. And we had breakfast at Crockett's Breakfast Camp which was a pretty typical breakfast place...which is to say it was good as well.

Trading for a QB is stupid unless there's absolutely nothing on the waiver wire so if you can get him to bite on trading Johnson or Mixon for one absolutely.

I mean, I'm super low on both players but having either as an RB3 or 4 would be fine and worth trading an extra QB for. Especially since they have the same bye.
