This casserole recipe belonged to my grandmother, who taught it to me when I was a young girl. My father was an alcoholic, and my mother really only cared about herself. They would leave me alone in the house with no food for days, and nothing but old, mostly broken clothespins to entertain myself with. Sometimes, if I was lucky, mom would bring me home something from McDonalds, or I'd get the scraps of dad's hamburger from the bar.

But I always looked forward to going to grandma's house, because she would always take the time to cook me a fresh meal. Granted, she was never the greatest cook, and a lot of the time her casserole would end up with a fingernail or two baked into it, but she tried her best, and it was the thought that counted.

Although I've improved upon it over the years, this recipe still brings me back to the innocent days of my youth, where I would only get to satiate my hunger once a month or so. I hope you can enjoy this delicious taste of nostalgia as much as I do!

This is why you shouldn't START OFF worrying so much about that stuff. Just be consistent and show up to the gym. Track your exercises and make sure you're improving gradually. Just make little improvements to your diet here and there. Cutting out soda/beer/desserts is a pretty easy improvement for most people.

No one should really be worrying too much about the more complicated stuff until they've been working out for many months. It will just overwhelm you.

Way too many people just dive in way too deep and then they quit. Play the long game. Don't focus as much on the results of how your body is changing, but on keeping consistent habits. Eventually you'll reach a point where getting more complex with your diet and workout is no longer overwhelming and just a simple transition.

I've regularly lifted weights for over 6 years, and proper diet is so much harder to remain consistent with.

And 1900 calories is really little food.

So is this series like FF where it doesn't matter which one you play first?

I'm interested in getting into the series.
