The government, in this case the judge, has no authority to detain you and place you in handcuffs for the purpose of teaching you a lesson. It was really petty but ultimately I believe this conversation only happened because corporate wants our store to pick up the pace so my manager likely choose this situation at random in order to fill her quota. I bartend and apparently I was moving too slow when performing my closing duties, such as taking out the trash and restocking liquor bottles. If I moved any faster Id be speed walking, no one in our store moves at that pace. My own boss is obese and I easily out pace them when performing tasks. | MasterOfGames57 02/08/23 8:10:24 PM #1 | I feel fucked up for saying this, but in my experience Ive only received bad haircuts (I dont mean meh, I mean actually bad) from barbers when theres a language barrier. And the strangest part isnt even the miscommunication leading to the wrong length or style. Its that I cant even get both sides of my head to look symmetrical. I just got out of this shop (2nd time there, first time was pretty good) but this lady took off my entire sideburn on my left side and the hairline is almost above my ear. Its that bad. My right sideburn however is in tact. I almost want to cry. The haircut was $30 too and I didnt have the balls to say anything. I left 20% too. If youre experiencing temperatures at X degrees and then experience temperatures at X-25 degrees the very next day, its going to be jarring for anyone regardless of which climate you live in (lets ignore Arctic weather for simplicity sake). For example, growing up in Wisconsin, a change from 32 degrees to 7 was terrible, but 7 degrees is much better relative to when its -15 and you must cover every part of skin besides your eyes. Meanwhile Imagine its 70-75 for weeks on end. Its t-shirt/ hoodie weather. Beach days are still in the cards during the day. But all of a sudden the temperature drops to 45-50 the next day. That hoodie youve been sporting when it was 70-75 degrees isnt going to mean shit for your body and youre going to need to add more layers to satisfy your comfort level. Meanwhile, if youve been wearing a winter coat for months in sub-freezing temperatures, that same jacket is going to feel overbearingly hot in 50 degree temperatures. --- Know Your Mouth and Shut Your Role!
