Yeah, but the quarterfinal and semifinal scenarios are just so much more appealing on that side of the bracket... I can see England having a good shot at any of those teams, whereas I don't see them beating Brazil (inevitably losing on penalties, in all likelihood). So they are better positioned for a deeper run now, though can still lose to Colombia, for sure.

I vote a new round goes up because I'm working from home today so I would vote on the hour ever hour...

This is legitimately the best idea because fuck Barry Allen and his time travel shenanigans.

I imagine it's actually not that bad in reality.

Yeah now I'm picturing this scenario:

-Barry pops by to Diana's, sees the framed photo, is given the Steve backstory including his death in the plane
-Barry decides to bring Steve to the present for Diana, since he's such a nice guy, and since it wouldn't have time/space continuum implications since he would've died on the plane anyways
-Goes back to 1918 on plane, grabs Steve and begins return trip to future (can the Flash bring other people through time? Not familiar with Flash mythos but let's say he can in DC Movie universe)
-Picturing like Thor: Ragnarok when Thor gets ejected from the Bifrost, Steve Trevor is ejected from the timestream for whatever reason, and ends up in 1984 instead of the present day
-Comical moment where Barry ends up back in the present empty-handed.

Like, we're in pure fanfiction territory here, but if you're doing a real Steve Trevor 66-years-later story, and not a dream or hallucination or villainous clone, that would be the way to do it... it's just, so bad....
