Pretty sure the issue is that half the X series (the latter half, at that) ranges from okay to absolute trash.

Only x7 and x8 are trash. The rest are great

The criticism is that even the weakest Mega Mans at least have great OSTs, but 11 somehow manages to be bad at everything

Mega Man 11 was the most forgettable game I ever played

I can easily recall the music of any MM game even if I played it just once. But nothing form MM11 stuck to me.

So why is From Software making Armored Core 6 that will sell maybe 20 copies instead of doing another ARPG
