For the record here is the "rules" I used to help narrow it down a bit.

-Favorite games not best games
-No yearly sports series (Madden, SDvsRaw, WWE). But non-yearly games like Blitz, Olympic Hockey, or No Mercy/ Smackdown Here comes the Pain are allowed.
-No compilation games unless that's the only way I played something (I did one of these years back where I used Mario All-stars and Sonic mega collection to save spots).

I've been in the mood to do a board project but canr decide what to do.

Firat thought is to actually do the Top 100 games list I created like a year or two ago and kept vaguely updated. Didnt do it cause a bunch of others did them at that time. It would certainly be a...unique list though

Other thought was an OP rating/ranking topic. Have people post show openings and then rate them based on a few factors (song, visual, interest, X-factor)

I mean there are great team histories on the wiki. Each team has full backstories as do many of the Marbles.

Prim and Mary are siblings and Player-Owners of Team Primary.

Minty Maniacs were a retired team from a now defunct league who decided to reunite for the last Marble League since they had earned a spot by winning their Leagues final championship.

I'll just throw in a vote to try a marbula1 race.

Its my favorite Jelle's event and just finished its second season.

Do you know which team/teams you are rooting for? Snowballs and Minty Maniacs are my teams. Started with Snowballs in Marbula1 but how could I not root for a team called the Minty Maniacs when I love mint and go by Maniac. I would also have to cheer for turtle Sliders but I've never watched a season where they compete.

Also have a soft spot for Team Momo and Rojo Rollers.

Yeah that was probably part of my issue as well. Just couldnt get into the story of Colour of Magic. Also I just didnt really enjoy that main wizard guy.

I struggled with Colour of Magic.

Enjoy some other discworld books but not really that one.

Discworld makes for really good audiobooks though. I did the City Guard and Death books that way.

Finally finished Dragon Age Origins for the first time. Fun game with some interesting choices and no like perfect route.

Still happy with the ending I got even if my MC is dead.

I just finished the 2nd book in a really interesting Chinese mythology/Dao inspired fantasy series. Its 2 stand alone books (so far) following the same main character. Set in early 1900s San Francisco chinatown.

Author is M.H. Boroson, first book is Girl with Ghost Eyes.

Yeah the flaws are less them being annoying or bad people and more just human weakness that is relatable and doesnt stop them from being heroes.

Cause I am definitely with you on struggling with a lot of overly flawed characters.

And read the novella which comes first which was very interesting and had great stuff for The Lopen.

Finally watched live action Mulan.

I really enjoyed it. Very different from the original while still keeping the major story beats.

Great choice to do it's own thing.
