here we are, as humans, only stuck on Earth, yet somehow able to decipher and conclude all we know about the universe, all the galaxies and all the many planets out there even out of our solar system.
How the hell can we humans know, just by looking at some telescope from planet Earth at things that are so far, millions of millions of light years away?

What if we were wrong all along? What if out there, it's just one big black screen of planet drawings that we're looking at. Or just some 3D simulation? Or maybe one big ass wall of painting

it's not really bad. If you do that, you'd be promoting more of endurance training. Military does this all the time. But if you want to increase muscle strength and get that buff aesthetics to look yourself in the mirror and boost your ego, you better take time off to rest.

I wouldn't be surprised if 200 years into the future (what luck if humanity even makes it that far...), humans develop space travel, explore the galaxies, and encounter no life forms. Then they look back and think of how silly they were in believing extraterrestrial life existed.
It's like how people once thought the Earth was flat. Or how people never knew an America existed. You will never know but can only speculate. Believing in it as an absolute certainty however, makes you the ignorant narrow-minded one. Doesn't matter how many galaxies there are.

Because point being, aliens do not exist until proven. One cannot claim it is true, no matter how much they believe in it. It's called burden of proof. Pretty basic concept. Unless proven, it is false.

I mean in the way that Koreans are more into playing the popular games and becoming good in them, like LoL. Japanese games are only played mostly by little kids these days. And Japanese don't do PC gaming, so they are behind in that regard.

And artists dont sseem to even base on raw quality anymore, do they? Just one look at Van Gogh's Starry Night for example. Looks like some messy painting a 9 year-old kid could do. Maybe Va Gogh just painted it randomly for fun, lalala. But then later on decades later critics with nothing better to do over analyze it like the amazing connoisseurs they are and suddenly such a s***ty painintg is worth millions.

I'll never understand the art industry. Works from people with actual skill to draw and paint and that actually has the natural talent to DO so are pushed aside as meaningless pieces. Meanwhile some no-brain crap like this sells for 4 million dollars.

I guess I cant expect much from CE. They're pretty clueless when it comes to the point of topics like these

yes, because WW doesnt deserve its ratings. It was a mediocre film at best. Heck, even Suicide Squad was more fun to watch.

What was so great about WW again? Seeing a woman being every feminist's wet dream come to live? That was what sure turned so many of the critics on, they decided to lump blind praise at it while taking a pass to hate on every DCEU film ever

This sort of talk implies there's some sort of inherit bias against DC. If that's the case then why?

you should go read some of the reviews. Negatives just because critics can't wash away their Christian Bale love and still refuse to accept Affleck as Batman despite better performance. Negatives because 'too much CGI'. Negatives because 'villian not well developed'. Flaws sounds familiar of another rival movie-verse?

I'd look to see what flaws a movie has, but stupid points like this has made me lose all trust in movie critics.

Secondly, you do know it's almost always the same critics reviewing, right? Why are all bunch of these same people reviewing movies and basically commanding how a movie SHOULD be based on what only they think it SHOULD be?

for example, an average movie-goer goes to watch a movie. He likes it. But then he sees the RT score showing the movie scores 10% pure rotten. He suddenly has second thoughts. He tries to wonder what was wrong with the movie.
His friend who hasnt watched the movie but saw the RT score proclaims 'wow, this movie sucks!'

The guy starts panicking. Slowly, he starts to think like the hivemind that, just like him, has subconsciously been trying to convince themselves the movie suck too, just 'cos the godly bar of judgement that is Rotten Tomatoes tells them IT SUCKS!
Eventually he forms the opinion that the movie does indeed suck.
