Did You Know: Big Yellow Taxi is a cover. But obviously I know the Counting Crows version much better. I think they are overall fine for a pop band from the 90s. A Long December is ok too.

Do you guys have a historical favorite 90s boy band? I thought I was an NSYNC guy, but Backstreet Boys are incredibly good and I just can't decide.

they're one of those 90s bands whose hits are insanely good. I don't call myself a fan of the Goo Goo Dolls, but their top 3 hits are GREAT

I hate this particular song, but for some odd reason, I like Mr. Jones. It's one of those songs where I don't really understand why I enjoy it, but I like it.

The Wild are perpetual underachievers in disguise, and have always been, but I'd just like to say that Eric Staal has arguably been their best player ever since he was signed in the 2017 off season as a washed up free agent.

It's refreshing to be able to make a Wild/MN sports related post and not have Erik_Q lash out at me like a drunk asshole. Except he's not drunk...he's just an asshole!

I can't believe the Vikings are that good because they only put up 16 points on us and our defense is pathetic.

Their offensive performance was a little concerning, but the play calling was incredibly conservative and it was really cold out. Keenum didn't have his best game and overthrew some open receivers a few times. That's going to be the Vikings downfall in the playoffs when they lose. (I hope I'm wrong)
It's worth mentioning that they didn't need to put up 30+ points, based on the anti-clutch of Hundley and the great defensive performance by the vikes
I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's so weird how the running game got BETTER after Dalvin Cook tore his ACL. The offensive line has been a bit shaky the past couple games, but they're at least 70% of the reason of why this team has been playing so well and improved this season.
Also, the defense was freaking elite. Say what you will about the state of the Pack and Brett Hundley, but the Vikes D was dominant. They did what they were supposed to do.

I don't watch much NBA, but I am watching Wolves@Bucks and it's weird that they aren't division/conference rivals. Same with Brewers/Twins. It just feels like all the stats of MN/WI should hate each other, because they're the only team with pro teams that MN borders.

I do watch pretty much all of their games. I also spent Christmas in Wisconsin with my packer fan relatives.

Breaking update in my switch: like I said earlier, I spent a few hours troubleshooting and looking up errors, and I was 98% sure it needed to be sent in. So I called the hotline like the Nintendo repair site told me too. And of course, while on the line, the switch worked perfectly. So maybe it's not broken idk. I'll try again when I get home. Work today BLOWS, I'm literally found noting the. I have a 2 day week. What's even the point

No I took good care of it. At the end of October it started getting all these errors, then the errors stopped long enough for me to ignore it (with stardew valley while I was flying back from Europe). Haven't really played it since, but the errors keep coming back. Tried everything (making sure everything is updated, restarting, trying it with multiple cartridges, restarting, etc). Nothing works. 99% sure I just need to call them and send it back to Nintendo. I even tried their online thing and entered in the serial number and it told me I need to call. I'm not mad or anything, because that's how the world works sometimes (this can happen with any console) but I was looking forward to playing some super Mario

Other than clothes I got Assassin's Creed Origins from my mom and El Capitan Hammer decided to show me up and get me TWO games this year: The Evil Within 2 and Prey. I got him the delightfully titled Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana.

I'm 95% sure I'll have to send it in. It's fine though. Things happen, and losing the saves I had (main one is BotW, but it's fine) isn't the end of the world

The bad news is that my switch doesn't work anymore. Games won't work - I've tried it with multiple cartridges and downloaded games. After booking, they all stop and get one of 2 total error messages. I've spent hours troubleshooting/trying solutions too

I was about to say...you literally never play steam. If you're serious, I can give you a whole list, based on your computer specs and favorite type of games and stuff. I built a decent pc 2.5 years ago, and it's still going strong and all I play are dinky little indie games

From those and stuff I've read on reddit it seems like 50% of people play

If you have the pads, you're hired. A nice perk is that it's an unofficial rule that goalies play for free (everyone else has to pay a fee that pays for ice time/officiating, etc)

In my league, absolutely not. There are a bunch of different leagues within this organization, ranked A1-D2, with A1 being the highest. We're at the very bottom, which is just amateurs doing it for fun. From what I've heard, A1 has a lot of former college hockey players who may have had a shot at the NHL at one point, but I highly doubt there are any scouts for pro teams or even semi pro that attend those games

yeah he used to let in a lot of soft goals, but has been improving lately. Though in this league, he does have the most important attribute that you want in a goalie, which is showing up to every game

Anyway, I'm not seeing Star Wars today but I was browsing showtimes. Seems like every place is doing a 730 showtime tonight even though the release date is technically tomorrow. It's quite the improvement over the old standard midnight showings launch day. When I was in school it would be fun to stay up late for a new movie and sleep in, but not really easy nowadays
