I think the closest thing I played to a 3D platformer in recent times was Neon White last year, which is a FPS(but more platforming-focused than shooting) platformer. It was lots of fun.

Like any Jedi. Lightsaber throw/return or any kind of weapon manipulation just immediately makes me think of the force.

Other than 3 being garbage that got worse over time I enjoyed the series overall. Never played Tina's Wonderlands though I was interested in its not-Grim Dawn way of picking two classes for your character.

I just finished Signalis this afternoon so I'm currently in a post-spooked state. I didn't even think about playing it during October so oops.

Thank god I played a whopping one mission of Deep Rock Galactic after Signalis. I mean I'd still die to Glyphids even on Haz 1, but I'll take a death via bugs or a mining accident over anything in Signalis. Edit: Oh and how does this work for games that have no endings? DRG doesn't have like a final boss/mission or anything, you're just a dwarf stuck in a dead end mining job.

Holocure or Signalis maybe. I can't imagine many non-weeb gamers care for a Hololive fangame(I'm not even a fan) or look at many Bullet heavens outside of Vampire Survivors. I've talked to one guy about Signalis and he hadn't heard of it, even though I know he has Gamepass.

More of CE needs to play Axiom Verge. It's the best not-Metroid Metroid I've ever played, but not my favorite Metroidvania(top 10 probably).

I let the Deep Rock Galactic devs continue with what they're doing, but if I HAD to force a change I guess add a new mission type or biome?

The Robotech Battlecry escort mission in space that has you defend like three ships I think? It was the only level I couldn't beat back then so I used a cheat code to unlock the rest of the missions, and I swear no other mission after that one was as troubling. It still bothers me and one day I'll go back to it.

I remember when the artbook came out there was like a tiny part in it that I think took place after the last book, so for years I was waiting for Christopher Paolini to come back to the series. I only just randomly stumbled upon the news that Book 5 is releasing this year when I was looking up books to read. Oh and speaking of old series coming back there's going to be a new Percy Jackson book releasing soon too, but I never read that series(or watched the movie because a friend hated the adaptation with a burning passion).

I enjoy it a bunch. Especially the Taro one I had recently for the first time.

Don't know about any Dragonborn or Centaur combos but I know half-human/elf/dwarf/orcs are a thing. Oh and I guess some Tieflings are a result of a human+devil/demon pair.

I just finished Furies of Calderon this morning. It was a nice enough read for me to continue with the rest of the series at some point, but I'm not sure when I'll start the next one since I've got other stuff to read. I doubt anyone on CE cares about the Inheritance Cycle but I wanted to read The Fork, the Witch, and the Worm before Murtaugh releases later this year.

Oh and I also want to read Edgedancer and/or Dawnshard before I start Rhythm of War, but this is a lot of reading for me.

That's the one that came to mind, but just that one combo near the end.

Deep Rock Galactic. The randoms you play with in that game are impossibly nice. You have so many potential ways to fuck with someone in that game just in terms of killing or hurting them, nvm the ways you can fuck with objectives or their ammo/resources too. Yet no one does it. I can remember being killed by friendly fire once which was an accident and the guy was super apologetic about it. No one gives anyone shit if they suck or potentially bring down the mission.

It's like somehow populated by well adjusted adults looking to have fun playing vidya and no one else or something.

Yes but I'm still mad that I missed out on the mindfuck that a lot of people got when they looked at it again and saw something completely different.

I went through this and thought people were messing with me and changed the picture. To think my brain itself was the trickster was a twist.

Really dense books with lots of detail! Crazy that he wants to make this be at least a 10 book series, which wont conclude until Im well into my 50s at the rate hes writing them.

Oh nice, it's a great series and I plan to catch up later this year or early next year. I actually just finished Oathbringer(book 3 in the Stormlight Archive) myself on Monday. I started it back in I think 2021 and didn't really read last year or this year until recently. I think I read about 1000 pages of it from July 27th to the day I finished it.

Now I'm on the first Codex Alara book because someone on CE recommended it and I wanted to take a break from just one author. The only reason I'm reading again now is that I randomly went inside a Barnes & Noble and walked out with the first Mistborn book(also by Brandon Sanderson).

Paladin, Oath of the Ancients or whatever it's called. Next is a Draconic Bloodline Sorc.

Yup. Made it to level 5 in the Early Access and stopped since it was the level cap, so I've been hyped for the full release which I've played for maybe 10-ish hours already? I'm about to hit level 5 again which should be fun. MC is a Lolth-Sworn Drow Ancients Paladin.

Hags are a thing yeah, and parts of their plans in that trailer(Larian Barrel justsu, high ground ranged attacks, and Tasha's Hideous Laughter(actual spell)) are legit things you can do in-game. Also gotta agree with Xenogears15's recommendation. I hopped out of that fight the first couple of attempts but came back at level 4.

Watching the last day of EVO, when I actually wanted to play Baldur's Gate 3 and read this weekend. I just can't help myself from watching it live.
