If you actually read the article, a lot of districts affected by this and that are ran by republicans are against reduction in SNAP benefits as it would hurt their chances of reelection. Something like this would never get passed in the Senate or House.

I saved over $1300 in textbooks by buying paperback international math books. Hard copies on campus cost around $100-200 (this was back in 2004) paperback cost about $40. Exact same content and pages.
Since college loves to update their textbooks, I swear, every year they have zero resale value.

A lot of gacha purists complained about the meme tier localization and censorship. They quit as a result.

Something very similar happened to another gacha, Blue Archive, where global had censorship and bad localization but Nexon fell to pressure to raise the age rating to Mature to keep the game uncensored. As a result their global server is going strong.

I had my Genshin Impact account stolen when the company leaked a bunch of passwords and UIDs. I managed to get it back and nothing happened except the person who took it spent all my primos, all 1700 of them.
I remember having several people trying to log into my steam account during the Team Fortress 2 hat craze because I had a very popular unusual hat that was valuable enough to sell for real money.

Resident Evil 6 was a good game, just a little misunderstood. I had way more fun on it on a replay. On the other hand, I didn't like Resident Evil 7 because it camouflages its "survival horror elements" behind jump scares and a first person view.

I finished the first combat section of the Island and I have exactly 2 handgun ammo and a dream. Saw four barrels and all of them had money inside.

Having to fight stun rod ganados with your knife is suffering.

100 super jumps is overkill. The Super Suit is a better lazy shell. Heck, the attack scarf at 30 jumps is overkill since it makes Mario invincible to everything except status effects.

The breaking point in SMRPG is that damage taken is subtraction based rather divisible. That means every one point of defense reduces damage by one. Stack enough defense and everything does 1 damage. It's common for certain enemy attacks and spells to do 1 damage with the right equipment. Mario reaches level 2 in the mushroom way and becomes invincible to every monster in that area.

I mean the game is suppose to be easy, but a lot of RPGs don't use subtraction in damage calculations because of how easy to crumbles to any intelligent player.

The game that does this is Arc the Lad Twilight of Spirits.

You control two brothers, one is human the other is a demon. Both humans and demons are at conflict with each other and both parties clash for 90% of the game until the real big bad shows up and both parties join forces.

The game is terrible and you shouldn't play it btw.

Cavities and mouth diseases are more about what you eat/drink more than dental hygiene. Not saying you shouldn't brush your teeth, but smoking, chewing tobacco, and consuming high amounts of processed sugar does way more damage than decades of no dental visits.

A 1986 Cadilac deville with less than 3000 miles. Near perfect condition with almost all factory parts and those were replaced were done by an official cadilac retailer. My dad bought it from a collector about 15 years ago and I inherited it later. One is that yeah Joel made a selfish decision based on his bond with Ellie.

But my take is that Joel is 100% justified based on how completely incompetent the Fireflies are. They couldn't smuggle Ellie on their own out of the city, they let their labs get infected by monkeys, and point guns first at Joel and don't even deliver their promise of weapons despite Joel fulfilling his end of the bargin. By that logic, I'm not even sure the Fireflies would have found a cure if they went through the operation. Their leaders are dumb, so it's only fair to assume that their scienctists are equally incompetent. I'd say Joel was doing mankind a favor.

None of the bosses in that game are hard.

Helmasaur King can be a bit of a difficulty spike since he hits pretty hard and if you don't collect a lot of heart pieces you die in 3 hits. Not everyone knows you're suppose to use ____Bombs____ over the magic hammer.

The only issue with this is that FF7 characters have roughly the same stats. I'd be nice if it adjusted their stats based on what class they randomly roll. So Knight Aerith would have better HP and Vitality growth than vanilla.

I don't know how robust FF7 edition tools are but I know when someone made mods it required ASM hacking to change growth rates, but that was decades ago.

My save file with 95% sidequest completion clocked in about 81 hours.
A good chunk of time is spent on menus. You have so many characters, equipment, accessories, quartz, master quartz, and your mecha to swap around if you just let the game auto equip and focus on one or two character's broken builds it saves a lot of time.

Playing on Nightmare and trying to beat bosses that you're allowed to lose to adds up a lot of time too due to more prep work and grinding.

For 8 months I owned a Playstation and my one and only game was Rayman. I never got past world 2. I would just repeat world 1 over and over.

What the heck is a Metroid Prime 1+2 multiworld randomizer? Is it like the Super Metroid+Link to the Past randomizer where items are in both games randomized? That sounds like complete insanity for Primes.
