Lore is blue magic point blank.
Rage is closer to a better berserk that will also sometimes do a different action, which you choose by which rage you choose.

Relm is not awful, but sketch having the potential to glitch the game in the original release kind of turned me off of her. That said her upgraded sketch ability, control, is decent.

Are you going to limit spells learned to natural magic / no magicite?

I did purchase Sword of Mana (Final Fantasy Adventure's remake) for myself recently, though I know it is far easier to access Final Fantasy Adventure nowadays given the release of the Collection of Mana for switch. So yeah, whatever it is in this case.

Ok, the final boss went down first try, no potions necessary. Thought it was more difficult than that. (Succubus soul for midbattle healing was enough)

Lolo has beaten Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow

Enjoyed the play through of this quite a bit, though I too felt like the first half of the game was a bit of a slog (probably because it was given how I was challenging myself to get the early "boss" souls there.) But with the breather, it was good.

I guess I'll look up Costume quest now.

As far as Castlevania goes, I'm in the chaotic realm, so I'll be wrapping this up soon.

Didn't get all souls. But the difficulty I was somewhat complaining about was mitigated by claiming the Claimh Solais, and getting through to the endgame was much easier after that, as it trivializes most enemies and bosses pretty well, if you're decent at avoiding attacks otherwise.

Just did the reset FFXII realm draw for 15 mythril, ended up with Ashe's and Vaan's Awakenings (and a dupe Gabranth OSB).

Nothing like doubling your number of awakenings with 15 mythril. =D

I really do need to get through the last of the nightmares and start doing magicites, though.

I was trying to beat Grimm first, gave up and the final boss seemed like a relief in comparison. I stopped playing after that. Didn't really want to deal with Grimm, and Godseeker seemed like it would be even harder.

Godseeker starts tame enough; the first pantheon or two is completely reasonable.
But yeah, completing the Godseeker content fully is incredibly tough.

So, I'm past Creaking Skull, or whatever Aria of Sorrow's first boss is, after grinding it to dust a bunch of times to get the soul to drop. Quick resets aren't nearly as quick on the Double Pack.
Also got a Baselard off an early Zombie, so I've got a nice attack boost at the start, though dagger-range isn't great.

Souls gained so far: Bat, Skeleton, Creaking Skull, Winged Skeleton, Flying Armor, Grave Keeper.

I actually tried a Julius file first, but I really don't remember this game so I hopped over to the mode with an actual story.
