You people that know your contests. We all know that FF cast got a massive boost when KH 1 came.
But why the same didn't happened with KH 2 release?

I feel like they did pretty ok? Tifa nearly upset Samus and Squall And Auron both put respectable performances against noble niners.

I think its more that their inclusion in KH opened up some floodgates. I think a decent number of peoples first exposure to FF was through KH1

Probably not so much anymore when it comes to Samus, since around 2010 shes held her own against most Nintendo things shes faced. Think its just Super Metroid holding up really well

The thing with Vincent is he is an optional character with not a whole lot of screen time and gets a lot of his strength from his design and his game
