Jeez...probably going to be absent from much of this topic now after coming back and wanting to be around after missing the summer sale. My dad is in the hospital...had a stroke around 5am this morning. If I don't pop back in or help with the editing, thats why. Just going to play something to get my mind at ease and then head to the hospital once he's out of the ER and admitted to a room. :\

Make sure to set your wishlist to public, otherwise others can't see what's in it
Profile > Edit Profile > Privacy Setting > Game Details - Public

It would have been alot better for everyone if we started linking our steam profiles instead of our wishlist.

That way you can easily find and add the person you are trying to gift

Before we begin, an announcement: I will be retiring from hosting the Steam Gift Contests after this one. I have been coming less and less often to GameFAQs lately, so this feels like a good place to stop. Plus, since I use FF quotes for contest titles I wouldn't even know what to use for the next one.

I won't be definitely leaving though, and if someone (or someones) picks up the torch for next Summer I will be around, participating rather than organizing.

It has been an amazing 7 years of generosity, let's end it with a bang.

Such a shame. I never got express my gratitude for gifting tekken 7 last summer. Been playing none stop. And i even made it to tekken god prime (maximum rank online) and got to participate in 2 local tournaments in my city

Haha yeah, some would find it strange that I'm acting like $12.90 is a lot...but alas my entertainment budget is so low right now that it basically is a lot for me...so it came down to the choice of Tokyo Xanadu at $7 or Borderlands at $5.90...I went with the former cuz I'd been wanting it for a while anyways XD

who knows you might win one of the "prizes" of the contest and that would just solve all your problems :)

I'm happen to be very satisfied with what I got this year.

im happy that some people are getting gifts

but over all this sale has not been as interesting as past sales

the sale this year was really odd. new AAA games were on sale but not old games, like Devil may cry 5 was on sale but not the HD collection.

overall i'm very happy with summer sale and this contest. kinda wish itrumpymypllow didnt dethrone me from being the top gifter >_>
