Nonsense. The ones accusing and doing the killing by proxy were girls on the fringes. Orphans and outcasts who found attention via manipulating religion and the mucky legal precedents(lack thereof rather) at the time.

There was no sexist plot to kill women, in fact the only female victims were women the girls didn't like or ones that called them out.

In fact rhe only people who mentioned shutting down are the super vocal "just live with it!" people.
Masks
Distancing
Barriers between tables and between register and customers
Sanitizer

All reasonable things we should keep doing.

This is literally what we are still doing.

Are you deliberately being dense?
Going back to no masks, no distancing, and no occupancy restrictions is irresponsible.
People should still be regularly washing their hands, get the vaccines/boosters, leave a respectful distance with others, etc.
Stores and restaurants should keep up the barriers between tables and between the cashiers and customers.

Making sure people are aware that this is still ongoing, that the vaccine isn't fool proof, that long covid is a massive concern, that being knowledgeable of what's going of is important: that's not fear mongering.
It's social responsibility.
Putting your head in the sand and saying "oh well we need to live with it" feels disingenuous and insulting when so many are still dying and experiencing lifelong issues.

Lol good luck with this.

You had almost half of the country refusing to take the vaccine and would rather listen to what a chud politician has to say about preventing COVID than actually taking the proper measures. Now you want to do it again, except this time even the vaccines and boosts don't matter anymore apparently.

Good...fucking...luck.

Long covid is nothing to fuck with and at this point we only have 2 years of data on it. We don't even know the longer term effects.

Again, what is the point you're trying to make here and what is your solution to prevent "long covid" when vaccines and boosts and such exist.

but that going back to how things were before is simply irresponsible.

And what exactly are you referring to with "how things were?" How things were prior to COVID, were that we got vaccines and practiced basic safety measures. We did it with literally every pandemic and mini pandemic in modern history. This is how you get endemic. But nothing truly ever goes away. This is why it is important to stay up to date with vaccinations and following basic health protocols.

But in actuality is people literally want to shut everything down again after people have been following the rules and staying healthy because of it, and really expect that to not be worse than the progress we are making now...

This is why you get vaccinated. The chances of having any health issues with a single vaccine is significantly low. A boost or two on top of that is even lower.

Look at it this way. The current biggest industries for global citizens getting out of poverty are medicine and technology. Focusing specifically on technology, many people dedicate their lives to bringing themselves and their families out of poverty to learn how to code or design or something similar. The blockchain is no different, and when dedicating most of their time to it they end up getting scammed less than your average privileged citizen in America gambling on some random dog coin.

But I'm telling the truth.

Countries like India, Uganda, Phillipines, and Nigeria are on the radar for a huge uprising because their citiizens are making money off crypto. In the right hands, we can see legitimate change for the better.
