I've been fairly quiet on this but here are my thoughts:

I firmly believe that the virus is man-made and was initially used to qualm the protestors in China and also as a form of population control. Unfortunately it leaked out of the country and got to the rest of the world - hence why Trump keeps calling it the Chinese Flu. He knows where it came from and who started all of it

The fact that a wet market just so happened to be located next to a bio-medical facility that was funded by Bill Gates is just way too coincidental. Gates, who many believe is part of the "new world order" that technically runs this world. He's not a doctor but yet he's out there giving his prediction for when the quarantines will end? Hmmm....

Again I'm not sure if the intention was to crash the world's economy but SOMEONE wanted to reset and re-distribute wealth. But in the end, it's going to happen regardless.

On the U.S. side: How do we go from the economy booming under Trump, historically low unemployment rates and the stock market at its highest point in a decade to now staring at a Great Depression? Did someone try to sabotage Trump's almost automatic re-election chances? We know the other leaders around the world don't like him. Did China play a role in potentially swinging this race for Biden/Sanders? Look at the Vegas odds. Biden was a 12/1 underdog to win the election. It is now a PICK EM. Unheard of.

All of these shutdowns...for a virus that is no worse that the regular flu and is hardly a death sentence. You can sit at home and recover from it. You and I will be fine. Our parents will be fine. Our grandparents will likely be fine. The recovery rate is 98%. 98%! And even higher if you're under 60 and relatively healthy. And yet here we are shutting the world down? Over this?

We have never done this in history. Why now??? I get that it's super contagious but is the spread really that much of a danger? Who is overloading the hospitals if the government is saying stay at home and recover? You have a cough and a fever and you're in time out for 7-10 days. Just doesn't make sense to me.

Were we due for a huge recession? Maybe. But from a virus? I just don't buy it.

I'm rambling a bit and I know I sound far out there. But I also don't take things at face value. What if this is all a test? A test to see how compliant we are with things like lockdowns and martial law...and finally getting the country to evolve into a socialist system. I mean look we're we at now: we can't work, we can't go out, stores are starting to ration certain supplies and food. Sound familiar?

Anyway those are my thoughts. And I'm sure you'll laugh and have me pegged as a nutjob here forward. But I like to vent and also provide an open mind on things.

Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart says he has tested positive for Covid-19, becoming the first member of Congress to announce he has contracted it.

Diaz-Balart, 58, a Republican who represents Florida's 25th congressional district that includes Miami-Dade County, said in a statement that on Saturday evening he developed symptoms, including a fever and a headache.
He had already been in self-quarantine in Washington, D.C., something he said he started on Friday "in an abundance of caution."

He said he had not returned to South Florida because his wife, Tia, has a pre-existing condition that make her at high-risk of contracting the respiratory disease.

On Wednesday, Diaz-Balart was notified that he has a confirmed case of the virus that is quickly spreading across the country.

Diaz-Balart is now among more than 7,700 coronavirus cases in the U.S.

"I want everyone to know that I am feeling much better. However, it is important that everyone take this extremely seriously and follow CDC guidelines in order to avoid getting sick and mitigate the spread of this virus," Diaz-Balart said in a statement.

"We must continue to work together to emerge stronger as a country during these trying times," he said.

it often goes hand in hand with submissive tendencies such as wanting to be stepped on or being 'forced' to lick a woman's feet/shoes clean.

It's this for me. Minus the trampling, I don't like pain. Just licking / having someone rest her feet on my face (smothering is a plus) is what gets me going.

The added qualm to me is that I prefer already clean feet, like fresh outta the shower. I don't wanna deal with the dirt or sweat bits of it that some people enjoy.

People have a hardon for "spreading awareness" for things that literally everyone is already aware of.

It's not the awareness that's the problem. People should share things like that straight from (what is hopefully) a legitimate source. Awareness is good.

It's the fact that she had to turn it into a pissing match by devaluing everyone else's problems.

"Your basketball problems" is a pretty uneducated thing to say about jobs being lost, a multi-billion dollar industry shutting down, and all other kinds of problems, including the same problems that she's posting about when the virus eventually explodes here too.

I'm not gonna sit here and say that no sports is a bigger problem than thousands of deaths in a pandemic. Because I shouldn't have to. Nobody should. We all know the shit Italy's going through is far worse than the NBA/NCAA being cancelled. It goes without saying. Yet she feels the need to secure the moral high ground on some perceived shallow victory when the truth is, nobody disagrees with her.

It doesn't need to be said. It just shows her own insecurity.

But basically the post was that long post about how bad things are in Italy because of the virus.

My response is - I get it, but what exactly do you want me to do about it? Fly to italy and cure people?

It's not like we can do anything other than click share and move on. Why does everything have to be a pissing match of "my problem > your problem?"
