If I check Google maps around where I used to live, satellite view - you can see the scars running through dense forest from where tornadoes came down. Maybe give it a shot and see if you find anything interesting around you. --- |

Yeah, when I lived in Ohio I did manage to see some tornadic weather on a few occasions, once involved two twisters and another involved seeing the funnel come down but not making a ground connection until it passed. --- |

I can also see a volcano but it's far enough away and given the wind direction I think I'd be fine if it decided to self destruct. Does your area deal with natural disasters? If so, which ones? --- |
