I like how TC supposedly hates Republicans but every single post he makes where they've done something bad somehow loops around to him talking about how the Democrats are just as bad or worse.

You probably hate Chris Pratt too, right?
I don't hate him, just find his abundance in movies a little too much for a medicore looking guy who can't act. If he was in supporting roles in stead, didn't cheat on his wife and then leave her, and get really insecure and upset when voted "the worst Chris" and get Disney to pull in the MCU stars to defend him, I wouldn't care about him at all.

He's not that funny or good looking, he played the worst main character in The Office, got butthurt that he was passed on for Captain America, went on to star in those super patriotic military roles, married a woman who is ludicrously out of his league, pushed a "good news network" during the pandemic and then sold it, directed and starred in a mediocre movie but acted like he revolutionized the industry, and most recently forced down our throats as Mr Fantastic in the movie Dr Strange 2

He better not get cast as MCU Reed Richards

also, I know how hard pregnancy is, but personally I find being so rich that you dont want to go through it again and instead pay tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars to have some other woman do it for you, instead of just adopting one of the many needy kids out there, is pretty fucked up
She had a rough pregnancy with the first child and kept on collapsing. Saying it can be hard is putting it lightly
I agree with the adoption thing, but I don't think it's relevant since the ethical thing for everyone who wants children is to adopt and that'll never happen
I guess my main issue with the surrogacy shade (in general, not just at Grimes) is that while it can be framed as exploitation by wealthy people against poorer people, that's literally labor in general. Everyone who works manual labor is literally selling their bodies so someone richer than them can buy a bigger truck, house, yacht, etc. Just that when it comes to surrogacy it gets treated as worse and I have to assume it's sexism (and internalized misogyny when it comes from other women)

The baby (a girl) was born via surrogate.
Why is this relevant?
TopicUsing 'they' after being told the preferred pronoun

I generally use 'they' to refer to people, just something I've always done.

So the issue is earlier this week I was hanging out with some friends and acquaintances, one of the people there is trans. She hadn't met many of the people that were there and she made a point of asking everyone their names and pronouns. Everybody was chill about that and no issues were raised.
A little bit later (Chloe) went to the bathroom. Someone asked where Chloe went, my immediate response was "they went to the bathroom" instead of "she went to the bathroom"
Suddenly I was yelled at saying "she doesn't want to be referred to with 'they' so use 'she' instead" and then someone else yelled back going off about how pronouns are stupid (which I disagree with, so suddenly I was stuck between everything)

Sarah came back and everyone was chill, but I'm assuming someone will end up telling
I use the singular 'they' for cis people too, not that it matters considering she did say she prefers she/her
