I actually bought a Tony's Pizza last week and even spent some time solving a picture search. Tony's is well better than I remembered but still nothing to brag about. Less than four for a oven Pizza though, this is Red Baron territory.

NCAA Football '12 felt like an rpg actually. You had to call up recruits, try to tell them what they wanted to hear, make promises, increase your pipeline (lol) and the school's prestige star rating. All in a time limit with games to play or simulate. I am not explaining it well but that was the closest I ever got to an American Football game feeling like an rpg.

Just adding points to stats doesn't count imo. So any Madden is out. Even NFL Head Coach was just a glorified coaching simulator and never as good or interesting as I thought it could be.

No one wants to go back to the 40s or 50s anyway. This question does leave a lot open to interpretation.

Am I allowed to go back in time and be an adult? I think the 1980s would be a fun time. I don't want to go any further back than that though. I honestly liked growing up in the 90s but the later 2000s rapidly went fast and I was just depressed and gave up too many times etc.

I think some old NES games and maybe Atari games are still fun, but I'd have to analyze my internal data more to recommend them.

I joined CE because someone told me about it on a board hunter board. I guess I was bored and checked CE again and stuck there for a bit.

It is a quarantine zone now, but the reason I joined is that Kbelf made a Discord she promoted on CE but you couldn't post during her boyfriend's band practice you know how that went. She also refused to turn off message alerts. That was the real kicker. She was probably insane, but would not use options provided.

All the CE rejects coming here, and well the ppl who never identified themselves as CE ppl. I meant to go to the ACKTUAL PotD, I hold no ill well to this board though. There are plenty of boards here. FANDOM CAN'T close them all.

Yeah that's lame, Now I do wonder if the sports and wrestling boards are safe. I don't use them so much anymore but there was a lot of fun had on the sports boards in the past.

Seemed kinda boring after awhile. It has a good opening hook but I lost interest in it. For 6.79 though it is worth a shot. I paid probably 8.99 for it. I don't remember exactly less than full price.

Sure I have some gaming shirts, and other random gaming accessories. I have a Luigi keychain but I don't actually use it, it's hanging in my room. Nothing anime though.

Not as many as they used to but they still have PS5 and whatever is current now. Their PS4 section though is half an end cap last I looked so that's pretty much non existent.

Oh yeah those automatic doors were a hoot. Sometimes they wouldn't open because you were too close and had to step away or some shit.

All of the Persona romantic/sexual relationships were just mostly inferred anyway. Granted maybe some are more "intense" I wouldn't know. I remember deciding to ask out Kasumi in Royal just because wth and it's not like much happens. I otherwise was friend zoning people left and right that run.

I'm in a drinking inspired one (not everyone drinks so that is why I said inspired). I know there was that topic with a list of a couple them, apparently. I just never bothered to check it out. I sometimes take long breaks from Discord. It's complicated. So I don't always want to be on it.

I tried it. Long story short. Don't get it for the base PS4. I am a patient person but way too long loading in and out of battles. I thought that was going to just be a Switch problem.

Otherwise I was into the story + characters enough for the hour and a half of gameplay I did play. Maybe I'll try again tmw or try it on Steam someday.

Chrono Cross has such a fantastic soundtrack wasted on a confusing mess of a game. I probably should try it again, again lol but I just can never get into it even if I by now spoiled myself on the whole story, I barely understand that still anyway.

Just the moment to moment gameplay never did it for me and how battles are pointless and ya only get exp from beating bosses.

This could be one or our Channel Awesome moments. Who shall be the last one standing.

Just so yas know it's probably ok on a PS4 Pro but don't get it it for the base PS4. I had to stop playing it. All that battle loading and exit loading coupled with more puzzles later, I presume. I had to stop playing it.

I wish I saw that user's post on the Eiyuden board before I bought the game. I was in the middle of the download when I saw it. I just put on Long Gone Days lol I never got the good ending. Persona 3 Reload coulda worked but just now I feel like shooting people in a more realistic game setting after I wasted my money lawl.

Played for only twenty minutes or so. Really want to play this and not keep posting but yea load times are bad on the OG PS4. Definitely shouldn't be that much loading but oh well I guess. I'll deal with it for now. I wrote a longer response on the actual board.

Thanks for the video! Granted I'd be getting it for the PS4 which obviously is older tech but one of the complaints I heard about too was how the UI and menus loaded slow even on the PS5 wtf!?! I don't know what some people are smoking. I am leaning towards getting it again.

I will say Drakkhen does have some great mood setting music. Certainly not fun to play or figure out though on a SNES.
Also good description of what Paladin's Quest could feel like today. It's a very alien feeling world heh those lollipop trees lmao

Was that Dragon Song? That game had some bizarre mechanics. Running drains your hp outside of combat. That's one of the dumbest ideas I ever heard implemented.

Steam reviews are often useless. Of course I've read a lot of well written reviews but some are simply one line. Something like "you can pet a dog." Then it gets a thumbs up. Wow. Thanks for the informative review!

Was Sea of Stars really that much better than this game? The demo never hooked me and I read that game just boils down to using the same few attacks in combat later anyways. So not sure about the hype/praise around that one.

As long as the base PS4 version runs fine I'll do some more research. I'll probably get it soon. I heard there are some surprisingly tough puzzles later on. Stuff like that would anger me more than 5-10 fps drops on ocassion hah but I am certainly not normal or obsessive over technical aspects.

I may hold out a bit on it. Most of the bad reviews are for the Switch version which doesn't effect me. But eh some other performance issues maybe.... I just may wait a week *shrugs* undecided at the moment. Some complaints do seem a bit dumb. It's like people can't play a Playstation 1 game again without tons of "QoL options."
