I've finally started watching some older shows. I just watched Sixteen and Produce 101 in the last couple weeks, probably Produce 48 next. I knew some results (especially for Twice, and only a couple from IOI), but I'm really loving seeing more of the idols and it's helping me learn who is who and where they are. Not to discuss a 7 year old show, but my faves in P101 were Yoojung, Chungha, Jeon Soyeon, and Im Nayoung. The middle two were biases because I knew them already. I'm gaining a lot more appreciation for some of their talents too, but the eliminations are killing me.

Not sure what other shows I might wanna watch. I've been keeping up with Fearless Kura, might poke around into more like that. There are plenty of groups I love that I don't know most of the members.

I got selected for the presale for their tour tomorrow! I doubt anyone who signed up cares about her unfortunate choice of shirt.

They are the only ones to win their contract thing with BBC so far, hopefully Vivi and Hyunjin are next.

Yeah they are usually just a mini-concert with some extra talk segments/games/audience interaction. Will likely get some special/cover stages. I assume you're talking about LE SSERAFIM's in a few days in which case the 2nd day is also Sakura's birthday so there will certainly be something for that during the show and it's pretty likely they will officially announce the date of their comeback and maybe tease the song. And yes it's weirdly expensive to stream for some reason

I agree. They are my default favorite group if it ever comes up, though some groups are really close. They just have an absurd amount of good to great songs, and they stay current. The Story Begins came out the same year I got into kpop too.

for one as an elitist purist I still think people should like Kpop in Korean if they're going to like it (but eh).

Dunno if this is common or not, but even with my kpop playlist currently sitting at 2242 songs I still always prefer English versions when available.

I've only listened a few times, but I like the album enough. I like the English version of Set Me Free a lot.

Twice quietly extended the presale registration period for their tour by 11 days and I haven't seen any reason why. Guess they are really pushing to sell out these shows.

I could be in the minority that believes the Young Luv album was the actual direction they should've stayed true to, being a vocal showcase and all, Sieun hitting the whistle notes in Butterfly, Yoon blowing out high notes and they seem to back all that up really well live.

I don't think they have another song half as good as RUN2U. I loooove that song. I really like Beautiful Monster too. I'm with you on the high notes, they sound so good.

I can't tell if I like Teddy Bear or not. Some parts are cool, others seem off. I like Poppy though, I never really noticed the Japanese version. I probably give StayC girls the benefit of the doubt.

Rising might be my least favorite song from Assemble from tripleS, which I guess isn't a bad thing. It's still fine.

I like Purple Kiss, they usually have a couple good songs with each new release. Cabin Fever is pretty good.

And I'm obsessed with this dance for some reason and it's made me like the song more.

Apparently their comeback got pushed back because of this dumb SM corporate stuff? That's sad, but glad they look to still be pushing for a comeback soon!

Somewhat related it's funny that I'm supposed to hate Scooter Braun because I'm a Swiftie and he's basically the reason she's re-recording her old albums, but now he's like the top guy at HYBE America. I don't know how much he has to do with kpop, but still.

Hyunjin and Vivi started their lawsuit so that makes all 12 Loona members trying to get out. They apparently had the same contracts as the girls who already won their thing.

Oh I didn't realize who that was, I was just thinking last night that will hopefully be announcing a comeback soon. I can't get enough of Le Sserafim.

I guess the weird contracts where Loona members never get paid was different.

They only have 6 songs right now, but Hype Boy is their best imo.

Youtube has been feeding me a steady supply of Le Sserafim clips lately. They are fun.

Whether it's true or not, those nine have been missing from the official instagram the last few weeks. We've only seen HyunJin and Vivi.

I am interested in what happens, I'm always excited for new Loona but this is weird.

I can't imagine how the girls feel with so many saying they will boycott it.

Do the other 11 members of Loona actually have to participate in their next comeback? I'm confused by the whole thing. I guess Vivi and HyunJin are still there.
