Granted last time we were first place going into the all-star break I think we lost something like 25 of the next 30, but we didn't have the smiley bird logo! Which is why I think the game is going to fail. I mean I want it to do amazing, because it is different and awesome, but for that reason people are going to stop playing. It really makes me sad.
I mean look at the people that are peeing themselves for Diablo 3. It's Diablo 2 with a skin pack. People cry that Modern Warfare is just a new map pack every year, and yet it sells more and more. Dodge didn't do anything for you guys during the beta? Did you use it right, or just whenever you felt like it?
You watch the NPC's animation, then you dodge. Not that hard. I mean I get that it isn't everyone's thing, but I mean the mechanic was not broken at all. Even though it is awesome in PvP, I feel that it is actually more useful in PvE. It will become even more so when you are able to run 5-man raids and such. In this beta there really wasn't a lot of time to practice it, so I can understand the "not needed" feeling. However, in later levels and in raids dodge will be your #1 skill. Downloading now. I am prob just going to PvP the whole weekend. I have been in a lot of betas, and everytime I play PvE, then when I get the game I get super bored because I just played the first 20 levels 3 times in a row.
So I am sticking with PvP, which is what I am going to be focusing on anyway. But this way when the actual game comes out, I can lvl to 80 faster before getting bored. Plus making PvP chars, I can try out any class at any time with no restrictions. Oh GW2 I love you so much. -- * B8 LNC * *****es be crazy!! |
