To be fair, the intro case didn't feel any shorter than the two after it.

Though I also discovered shortly after it that the Skip Text option makes text appear faster in general and I didn't have that enabled for G1-1 - that could have something to do with it. But I also wouldn't be surprised if it was longer than G1-2 or G1-3 (or at least comparable to them) regardless.

G1-2 beated

Yikes, that has to be one of the dumbest and most unsatisfying murders in the series, especially considering the victim. Though I do have to give this case credit for establishing both Susato and Sholmes - they're a lot of fun. Props to the writers for making an assistant that isn't Yet Another Maya (even if I do like the others, Susato works well with Ryunosuke and Sholmes so far).

Picked up GAA yesterday - I did watch an LP of both of these a while back, but don't remember many details aside from the big plot points. Got through G1-1 a while ago.

I'm kind of mixed on it. On the one hand seeing Ryunosuke come into his own over the course of the case was great, and the cast was overall pretty fun. On the other hand, the pacing was pretty slow, especially at the end. Maybe I've just played too much Ace Attorney but as soon as Hosonaga mentioned collecting both steaks I knew they got swapped, and yet getting there took ages.

Still, mostly glad to have more Ace Attorney to play, and the characters are pretty fun. I remember this game being weird in a few ways, but it should be a good ride.
