Just because he hates accountability now, after years of attempts to hold him accountable, doesn't mean that he'll always act that way. They should establish a new training program.

Listen, I'm not a fan of him either, but do you really think just getting rid of him will fix anything? We can work together to reform away the bad apples of his personality, but doing so will require giving him an expanded budget to work with, for better training.
