I disagree this is minimal, especially for the amount of money Im giving them, let alone loyalty (maintenance all done at dealer).

The strange thing is they werent like this when I was buying my RAM. I guess this Covid lack of supply thing really got to their heads cant wait to see them back pedal and apologize later. Fuck em.

Im working with another dealer now. They said they already have a vehicle with the exact same configuration that I wanted as an order thats in its final stages, so they can just give me that. ETA for delivery is January 2023. They have a base model in stock theyll let me borrow over an entire weekend if I wanted, and said theyre happy to pick me up in January when the vehicle gets delivered.

Im going to move all my business there, including the maintenance visits for my RAM, even though its an hour way (vs this 10 minutes away one).

Only thing I regret is not being able to give the current dealer all 1s in the new car survey, which hurts them significantly, since I wont be buying from them anymore.

Something to understand is the liability issue, because if they aren't covered and some guy from the dealership picks you up, gets into an accident, you can sue them into oblivion and that's no more dealership if they don't offer that service and their insurance doesn't cover it. I don't think it's a case of "No, i'm just not gonna" but more that they cannot. Just something to consider before your first instinct is that they are just being dickheads.

Background:
Dealer is 10 minutes away (4 mile drive). I bought a $50k RAM 1500 from them in 2019. I placed an order for a $60k Chrysler Pacifica a few months ago.

First Strike:
When scheduling an oil change for my RAM, I found out one of their brand new loaner vehicles was a Pacifica. I asked if I can borrow that for like an hour while I wait for the oil change, so I can feel what the minivan is like. They said no, and I got pissy about it. CE said I was entitled, but I still dont think I am.

Second Strike: (NOW)
The minivan has completely been built and is awaiting ship out. To get the logistics out of the way, I asked about funding methods (e.g., personal check is good enough on the day of the purchase), and I also asked if they can come pick me up at my house so I can drive the minivan back. They said no, they dont do this. I asked do they not have a shuttle, and they said they do have shuttles, but its for service appointments and not for vehicle purchasing.

Seriously, at this point, Im about to walk and just buy the minivan elsewhere and wait another 5 months or whatever. This is ridiculous. Thoughts?

My opinion is that what both democrats and republicans did are wrong:

• Democrats should not have tried to pass a bill requiring vacation time specifically for railroad workers. I disagree with these type of special interest specific laws. Instead, democrats should have tried to pass a general vacation law- require large companies that employ x number of employees to give a minimum of y vacation time per z.
• Republicans (and democrats) should also have not made striking illegal and force railroad workers to work. This will only exacerbate the problem and is extremely anti-democratic and anti-free market. This also feels extremely anti-small government ideals, which is what republicans stand for.

I do think some form of government intervention is warranted, because of just how much impact the rail system has to the national economy, safety, security, and life. I believe the fault lies squarely with the Biden administration, because Biden publicly stated that his administration is working to mediate the situation, and failed. If I was a mediator, and both sides kept disagreeing with the contract, I would have attempted to negotiate that strikes are okay for as long as critical deliveries are still happening (e.g., coal for power plants, any goods and services required for medical/military/food), to minimize impact to life in the event of a strike.

If I was king for a day, I would federalize the railroad system simply because of how important it is to the entire US.

Shaking hands definitely came back, at least in the US. I dislike it, but it just feels very rude to reject it. I hyper notice my hand after a handshake though, and keep it away from me until I can get a squirt or wash my hands.

Saw a copilot meet his pilot outside the gate just now, and after exchanging pleasantries, the copilot offered his hand, the pilot said I dont shake hands anymore and the copilot then said oh thats alright.

Do the archon quests if you just want the main story

It wont let me continue unless I finish other quests, but it wont tell me which quests to finish so Im looking at the main story quests, but some of these seem like bullshit fillers. For example, one is having me go to some new area and having me do some puzzles to go deeper underground.

Ventis story of his aloofness being somewhat of a facade and ability to be serious to help out Stanley, Zhong Li struggling through the loss of memory over time.

To clarify- I stopped playing after the Electro archon story line ended, and you become friends with the archons puppet.

I stopped about a year ago because there just wasnt anymore content except the bullshit grinding content they released every 6 weeks or so. I tried playing it again, and Im having the opposite issue- too much shit to do, and I have no idea which shit is the grinding bullshit and which is the actual story I want to continue.
