I notice that not many people are willing or brave enough to call out a right-winger whenever they act out in public. We keep on expecting politicians to intimidate them, yet it's odd that only a few of us would be bold enough to do so on an individual basis. Like it or not, we cannot keep on running away from them as they try to attack us and our rights. We have to fight back in the end. |

Conservatives, by definition, are easier to mislead because they don't think critically and don't have much trust in their own individual feelings and interpretations because they lack introspection. And that's just in a vacuum. They might really enjoy a movie in a vacuum, opening day, then they go online and get caught up in the outrage against the movie and go with the tide, completely forgetting about and abandoning their own initial feelings. In today's increasingly reactionary atmosphere, now that opinions about movies on the internet are increasingly prepackaged, this doesn't happen. They go straight to formulating their opinions beforehand, based on their social circles.That's a good description of what conservatives are these days when it comes to shows and such. |

In my honest opinion, I generally find conservative fans very difficult to interact with due to their tendency to start flame wars and engage in toxic discussions to prop up their own views towards a particular work even if it might not be bent on conservative ideals. While liberal fans do have a sizeable toxic base in the form of SJW extremists, even they seem mild at best and irritable at worst compared to the meanness coming from their political opposites. Whenever a new game or show comes out and the protagonist isn't white and male, conservatives are the ones who make the biggest stink about it. |
