As long as you have some options you should be fine. And even if there was a nice 10 course menu made by the best vegan chefs for mr. vegan, he'd still NOT be able to eat 100% of the choices in the party, right?

it's not semantics. veganism has nothing to do with taste so your argument is invalid. unless this hypothetical has someone who is fundamentally/morally opposed to eating onions because of ogre rights or some shit, it's not the same kind of limitations. even if it was, vegans do not inherently enjoy all vegetables either.

the point is, one person has more options than the other. that's what I'm arguing. i don't know why you're trying to argue that fundamentally, a vegan has less options than a non vegan

that's because veganism is moderately new. you said it yourself, the alternatives haven't had centuries of exposure or opportunities to develop or flourish. it's funny that you bring up science since that's constantly progressing and evolving. veganism is still in its infancy in this modern culinary age.

how do you not see the difference? whether you think someone is justified or not in being upset or catered to, objectively speaking one person has less options than the other out of the two scenarios. they aren't the same regardless of how arbitrary you find the complaints

what necessitates the "building blocks of cooking" is entirely arbitrary in this day and age. my bf is lactose intolerant so we've plenty of dairy substitutes and the difference is minimal. ive really only noticed a difference when people try to incorporate other ingredients for the sake of being gluten free and low in sugar.

i guess i was just basing it off of the "moral pirates" i see here. whenever someone brings up "piracy is theft", it's not long before you have people justifying themselves with things like "i would support it officially. i only pirate because it's out of production and i shouldn't have to pay the resale value. it doesn't hurt them anyways since it's no longer distributed"

you do realize the entire game was datamined by the demo right? again, this isn't about the developers. i hold nothing against square personally. the only one not being objective here is you. we've seen everything ff7r has to offer in terms of gameplay depth and we know all the story content and what the game entails from the datamine. im not giving cdpr a pass over square. im giving cyberpunk a pass over ff7.
from the very beginning i placed my emphasis on the product being delayed and not who's delaying it. there's literally been no beating around the bush. how hard is it to understand that i hold no bias over developers and am instead focusing on the product they're pushing. it doesn't get any more objective than that. especially when im looking at the hard data presented in the leaks

places that struck me in particular since they seem like they're popular enough to visit: chinatown, little tokyo, venice beach, and downtown where we stayed. ive only been to cali twice so its hard for me to recall the specifics of where i went other than the big name spots. even hollywood was moderately disgusting.

and this one isnt la but im reminded since i was going to bring up dodger stadium. on our way to angel stadium, again these are key attractions we're talking about, the amount of tents we saw off the freeway right before we got there was fucking jarring.

familiarize yourself with the kind of drinks you like? at least know which of the basics you like. generally, most bars are gonna be well stocked. barebones ingredients you can count on having are seltzer/soda, lime/lemon/orange juice, simple syrup, and each of your base liquors(vodka, whiskey, tequila, gin, rum).

also quintessential cocktails will have the same name wherever you go unless you're at a place with an incompetent bar. you're overthinking it.

I still don't understand what this means. Consciously making 3D games look worse would take even more effort and focus. I feel like we overestimate how much it takes to make good graphics anymore.

because developers spend there time focusing on set pieces and on track sequences to mimic modern day blockbusters instead of focusing on deep gameplay mechanics. when it comes to triple a products, gameplay is tacked on.

well i have. sorry i didnt think warm weather didn't make up for the cities of tents and encampments of crackheads scattered throughout its major metropolitan areas. not to mention the public transit in la sucked because of that. it was either that or rent a car and fair through the shitty traffic, one way streets, only to get to where you needed to be and find zero parking and when you finally do find a place it was never free.

point being, something being worse is hardly relevant given the context that is time. Harding is dead. he's not a threat to anyone and scrutinizing him won't make any impact on the world we live in today. it's important to focus on modern day problems since those are the ones that affect us. not to say that we shouldnt care about the past, but what takes priority is now and the future
