Really beefing up FFX here. The SSB isn't good but it's armor so even that's not a bad draw. Thinking how to use that USB in battles now, initial thought is it will let me move Wall from RW to native (taking Y'sh off proshellga duty) and open up more options for the RW.

Other stuff: Jump Start so easy this time around, didn't need to adjust my normal A-Team setup at all. Also, thanks for the Cid Raines advice, gonna go ahead and dive him

Jump Start down, much easier than Red Soul, and this is with Y'sh dying almost immediately (she did get Wall off beforehand). Strat: VoF+Shout, Squall and Ayame use RW Cloud USB and then their OSBs doing 99999 damage each hit.

Jump Start mastered! I did have Larsa BSB which helped massively. That allowed me to swap out sleep resist accessories for more MAG, which bumped Pap's CMD1 to 5 hits. It also avoided Sleep entirely which was huge, because even with sleep resist I was having bad RNG with just the first sleep getting at least two of my guys every time.

To tweak my strategy: Larsa in Y'sh out for Astra, Tyro in Cait Sith out for wall but still have dancer breaks. Started with VoF and RW Holy Circle buffs, then faith on Pap. Instead of starting right away with Maria BSB, I had her chain firaga an ogre until one was dead first. Gave earth abilities to Pap so he could help with DPS after ogres were down. Once only Red Soul was left, faith Maria and go to town.

FFII Jump Start is killing me and I'm not sure why considering I have Maria's BSB. I get one Ogre down but I can't get the second one down in time before it's sleep/ultimate blizzard barrage. I've been running:

Maria (Fire/Earth DPS)
OK (ATK/MAG buff)
Cait Sith (dancer breaks, -ATK/MAG SB)
Pap (MAG buff, Enochian Firaga)
Y'sh (Wall, Asylum)

RWs I've tried are Curilla (ATK/MAG/DEF buff and radiant shield) and a second Maria BSB, with similar results. I would have thought 3 MAG buffs would be enough, but Pap is only getting 4 hits off his CMD1 attack. Ugh I need those vitality motes

Used the leftover 100 gems I got for the Gem Draw to take a longshot gamble at Cloud USB. Ended up with a Reno SSB, which is actually okay since I do need some magic stat sticks for FF7

Tempted to do an 11 pull on it since there's three relics I'm aiming for (Cloud USB or BSB2, Zack CSB since I have a ton of wind relics), but I need to make sure I have enough mythril for some future events. I know FFX is coming up soon, but how far away are the FF3 (OK USB) and FFTA events?

From what I understand, no. Replaying the board game resets your character to LV0. The way to improve your characters is to get some money in the dungeon and unlock their upgraded cards through the gacha machine. I believe the upgraded cards significantly improves their growth during the board game.
