As someone who often stands up for the cops, this was wrong. That man was handcuffed facedown on the ground. If you can't restrain someone that incapacitated without putting the weight of your body on the back/side of their neck then you're in the wrong line of work.

The neck artery is near the front side of the neck, not the back. There is an artery on each side. A knee to the back of the neck cannot complete restrict blood flow. It cannot completely restrict airflow. The position is not ideal for cutting off either.

Floyd wasn't slammed to ground either. There is no video of it. There is video of him falling to the ground by himself. His body was giving way before he was on the ground.

And still, nobody can explain why he his stomach is hurting. Why his body is hurting and why he said he couldn't get up if he was let go.

So explain to me how it would cause his stomach to hurt. Like I said, it's not going to be a popular opinion. People are very emotional right now and nobody is willing to take a step back to analyze the whole situation.

The autopsy report will come out in a few days. We'll know the truth then.

The other officers had a knee on the back and leg. He's talking, so he is taking breaths.

Again, it still doesn't explain him falling to the ground, stomach aches, whole body ache and the nose bleed. The human body doesn't react with those kind of symptoms.

I've watched the video multiple times. Something is off about the whole things and I don't think he died because of the knee from the office. Here's what I saw:

• He felt to the ground just before they got to the police vehicle.
• The officer's knee, while pressed against his neck didn't restrict airflow, otherwise he wouldn't be able to talk.
• While on the floor, he said his stomach hurts, his whole body hurts, and he can't move.
• A witness said he was bleeding from the nose.

I've seen hundreds of MMA fights. Someone putting pressure on the neck cannot cause your stomach to hurt. It cannot cause your body to hurt. If he is talking, the knee is not restricting airflow.

Here's what I think may have happened. There's a chance he may have ingested a foreign substances that's causing all those symptoms... large amounts of cocaine or some other hard drug (possibly to hide it from the police). Remember that he fell to the ground just before he got to the police vehicle, so something was already wrong. Look up the side effects of cocaine intoxication... stomach ache, difficulty breathing, bleeding nose and potentially stroke. In large amounts, it can be deadly.

This is not going to be a popular opinion and we'll know more after the autopsy. If I'm wrong, I'll admit that I'm wrong.

The point is that too much deficit is not good for the U.S. The U.S. government already gave over a Trillion away in the last couple months.

$2000 per month would easily add another Trillion to the deficit over 3 months. That's without anything else in the budget.

Because increasing the debt gives something for the Republicans to blame on the Democrats and lets them call for welfare cuts. It's always the same story. This is also why the economy would be in a much better state under Hillary 5 years from now - a GOP senate would hold her budget accountable while they let a Republican President run up a deficit.

And Obama added $9 Trillion to the deficit, nearly doubling it. Are you going to turn a blind eye to that too?

China practically own the Dems at this point, that's why they keep defending China.

Again, "the man" is not an individual who saved his entire life to buy an apartment and rent it out to be able to retire, "the man" is a huge conglomerate that gets bailed out every time, such as banks, airlines, rental companies, and millionaires like the kochs and mercers.

That likely has something to do with it, but more of it is that South Korea tested and tracked the shit out of it at the start. Quarantined anyone testing positives and then went and tested anyone that they had contact with.

So they had a lot of confirmed cases early by locating the asymptomatic and quarantining them.

It's true, they tested more, but the South Koreans who got the disease had a higher chance of survival because they are naturally healthier.

People in the US eat like pigs. Obesity is the 2nd biggest factor in the mortality rate, after age. If you're old and obese... that's really bad news.

Let's be honest...the current way we handle voting is pretty inconvenient for younger voters. Many younger voters are stuck in retail/service jobs with odd hours/off days. Many of those people are also taking classes on top of working. They can't afford to take a day off either. And unless I'm mistaken, you usually need a valid reason for a mail in ballot. And I remember when I went to look for early voting places, a lot of those places closed fairly early. I think the one I went to closed at like 7 or 8.

It's part of the reason the younger generation likes to do everything over the internet. Time constraints aren't so much of an issue.

Many young voters want others to vote cause they're too lazy to do it themselves. I don't see many people on here talking about going out to vote. They rather stay at home and play video games all day.

I remember similarly getting screwed with the Bush stimulus. I hadn't worked the tax year they needed.

They should be doing it how they do Medicaid in most states. How much have you made so far and how much did you intend to make for the rest of this year. If they lied, they get taxed next year.

If they don't have 2018, they should file their 2019 taxes immediately. The will use the 2019 tax returns if it's available.
