I went back to school to be a care aide and worked retail during school to have some semblance of income and fuck no it isn't. I make double the money and actually feel good about my job.

I was in radio 17-30, became a ticketed carpenter at 23 cause radio was only part time, worked full time in radio 25 to 30 and then went back to construction for a decade.... I've spent 7 months in health care and its maybe the most fulfilling and fastest passing the time job ive ever had.

And it pays okay up here as well.

Worked retail more as a high schooler and 1st year college student. Then got into the restaurant industry and now guest bartend at several spots as a side gig to my IT job.

I won't go back to retail unless I absolutely have to and if I do it would have to be night shifts only. I have absolutely no desire to deal with customers in the retail environment. Just......no.....

I prefer big coasters, but I also just love theme parks in general. And my gf's best friend talked about wanting to go to Disney World, so now I've got Disney on my mind lol

oh, sometimes i go to those traveling carnivals that come around by me. Do they ever come around, by you? The rides at those fairs aren't real big. They're probably a little lesser than disneyland.

Nothing planned at the moment. One of my friends had been busy with the LGBTQ organization she's part of. Another friend moved out to the next county over, so she hasn't wanted to hang out as often. And the other guy in the group got engaged, so he usually does stuff with his fiance instead. I may just have to drag my gf to Disneyland or something over the summer

I use Tide Pods. My washer is somewhat not level, so the liquid soap doesnt distribute properly from the dispenser. Learned that the hard way over time.
