Damn. Even with 2 shots from the BFG, this final phase is ridiculous. Spirit demons are just too damn powerful.

Ha! Made it to his final phase and I have 2 BFG ammo. It's over, big boy!

Holy cow that first phase with his spirit shield was actually no problem. Got it on like my 3rd try.

Oh wow. At least his phases have checkpoints.

I'm legit scared to fight this final boss of TAG1 but here we go.

I got through the level the night I made this topic, but didn't really even attempt the final boss (I remember how hard he is from Ultra-Violence).

I plan on trying to beat him tonight, so bump.

I miss pre-nerf The Ancient Gods. I always wonder how the second DLC would've originally been had people not bitched about the difficulty of the first DLC.

I played it on Ultra-Violence difficulty. They didn't nerf the hardest encounters in The Blood Swamps. They were some pretty hard ones, though.

WHAT THE HELL at that first big checkpoint in The Holt. I felt like I was being punished for something.

• Blood Makyr
• 2 cyber mancubus, 1 Hell Knight -- any of these can be possessed
• 2 whiplash, another Blood Makyr
• Something like 8 mancubus (It HAS to be over after this, right?)
• Tyrant and a Marauder

I think I've come to like the Intern character. It's not like there are any deep characters in this game, but I like how he's the only one who's unafraid, because he just wants to have fun.

I've been at it for almost 2 years. Finally playing the last level of TAG1 tonight. So this is the last really hard level I have to get through... Until I play Master Levels.

My run stopped DEAD at that one checkpoint in The Blood Swamps. I actually had to go back and play the whole base game to reteach myself how to play the game. Only then could I get past the encounter with 4 Barons.

This game is like learning an instrument. Sometimes you just need to go back and do the easy stuff because you're lacking something in the fundamentals.
