| GOGZero 05/28/21 3:51:27 PM #7 | Double Dragon IV disappointed me. It's a very 50/50 game. It's modeled after Double Dragon II: The Revenge. It felt like I was playing a flash game from Newgrounds, right down to the cutscenes and story. The only fun part about the game is Tower Mode and being able to play as other characters you unlocked. It's fun for like a few seconds using the other characters but I didn't feel like going through the game again. Ashida (who resembles Segata Sanshiro to me), one of the characters you can unlock is so busted you can just spam his Aura move over and over to decimate everything. It's a so so beat em' up, it's just very uninspiring and you can play a much better beat em' up or one of the other ones in the series. Double Dragon Neon is the better game if I had to choose between IV and Neon. The game has that 80's vibe with many references from that era, you get some cool and decent special moves. Too bad they got rid of some of the older moves in favor of the new ones, they even reference it (the hair grab/knee bash throw), It also has Skullmageddon who is a national treasure. Doug Parker's chain smoking Mega Man was the first but totally not the best. Ian James Corlett was cool at the time. "Now I've got your power!". The guy even went on to voice Goku in the Saban Dub for Dragon Ball Z. Mega Man 8's Mega Man was...well, Mega Man was supposed to sound like a kid going by his appearance. Upon a Star's VAs for Mega Man felt like they are both one and the same. Can group them both together. Powered Up's Cole Howard felt like a step in the right collection for matching Mega Man's character. I'm indifferent to the Fully Charged voice. He was so so. As much as I like some of Benjamin Diskin's work in other media, I didn't like his performance in 11. My mind kept going to Haida from Aggretsuko and it just didn't click with me with his performance as Mega Man. --- The reason why you couldn't see my Signature before is because it was Invisible |
