I think it's different this time around though. Last time, Trump was still in charge, and he chose not to call in defenses because he wanted it to happen. This time, he won't have that authority. Biden's team can be much more prepared for anything that may happen, and will quickly shut shit down if anything does happen.

Will he just spend the rest of his days on Earth at Mar A Lago complaining about how the election was rigged against him two times in a row to anyone who will listen like a crazy old man with dementia?

I don't think he'd run again in 2028 since he'll be much older by then, he will probably have lost most of his support by then, and I can't imagine he would set himself up to lose 3 times in a row. I'm honestly surprised he's running again and potentially setting himself up for 2 losses.
