The Breakfast Club. It's got no story to speak of, it's way too proud of itself, and none of the characters are the least bit likable.

It was full of many 80s/90s high school stereotypes that I guess aren't really applicable to the "smart phone age" audience.

I don't even own a Smartphone.

I'll agree that the story is nonexistent, but the characters being unlikable is so objective. Each one is likable in their own way. You just didn't happen to connect with any of them. (Which is also strange, because there very easy to connect with)

Also, the characters transcend time and pop culture. They are lovable in any decade.

So why does he share with Bruce Willis exactly what he did? So he can... get arrested and go to an insane asylum? Why inform Bruce Willis of exactly who he is and what his weaknesses are, if his goal is to use his awesome mind to destroy him? Mr. Glass as a character is an idiot

Because if he didn't, he would have never become the super villain; and no one would have known who he was or what he had done.

And more specifically, David Dunn would have never known who his arch nemesis was, which was all Mr Glass cared about. It was his entire existence. It was the only thing he wanted in life.

He could only find his purpose once he shared who he truly was. And David could only become who he truly was once Elijah made himself known.

Also, it's cinematic. It's also made for us, as viewers. It's a therapeutic experience.

It's a fantastic movie and easily Shyamalan's best.
