Dr. Susan Moore, 52, died Dec. 20 following multiple hospitalizations for complications from COVID-19, first at IU Health North and later at Ascencion-St. Vincent in Carmel, Indiana.

Her frustrations with the care provided at IU Health were chronicled on Facebook in multiple updates. The first came Dec. 4 when she said delays in her treatment and diagnosis were motivated by the color of her skin.
In a 7-minute video posted to her Facebook page, Moore described frustrating back-and-forths with a white hospitalist with the IU Health system.
She described having her complaints of severe neck pain disregarded, despite drawing from her years of medical expertise to make a self-assessment.

"I was crushed," a tearful Moore said of the doctor's refusal to provide her pain medication. "He made me feel like I was a drug addict. And he knew I was a physician. I don't take narcotics. I was hurting."

It's well known that doctors and nurses make black patients wait longer for care, take them less seriously and do everything possible to deny them pain medication because of ingrained racist stereotypes. This woman who is a doctor herself died recently after shitty care and being sent home way too soon.

The pay can't be that good.

$40 to $80K base for knowing how to drive, no special license needed unless it's for the feeders(big 18 wheelers). UPS hires anybody, no educational requirement, good benefits and they hire felons. It's a lifelong position for many, which is why openings for drivers are rare. They promote from within so there's an unofficial waitlist to get a driver position.

I worked at UPS as a driver helper on year, then as a coordinator(manages the drivers and helpers). In my group interview we had six felons, including one who had just did 12 years and had deep knife scar running across his face. They hire people with criminal records, which in some cases is good for rehabilitation for former offenders, but overall the standards are low.

How many Legions did Zuko kill? He was actually just a lackey, and Iroh's redemption and sins were never really shown. Azula is the character that would have to join the good guys to fit this trope. None of the straight up evil villains in the show ever really turn good. Even in that shitty Kora series, the anti bender guy gets "redeemed" by dying. Redemption equals death is the right way to do it. If there's something i'm missing it's because I finally stopped watching.

Yea, this entirely. don't get me wrong, most rap fans see him as one of the best or at least really good but it's pretty much the white fans who elevate him to GOAT status. Been with my fiancee for nearly 2 years, living together for 1. They were a single mother and it didn't put me off at all. Even if I didn't already have a child of my own I like kids and I don't have any dumb stereotypes and prejudices lined up in my head against single parents. It really depresses and disgusts me the kind of misogynistic bullshit people will come out with about single mothers.

I have a great relationship and now I have two kids instead of one, I'm already in the stepdad role and I'm very happy. I read their daughter a bedtime story every night, take her out places, she helps me cook and recently we've started homeschooling. I treat both of the kids the same with equal amounts of love and care.

I think if you're serious about someone and the relationship is solid then settling down with a single parent can be a great thing. Incels are morons but we all know that, just a shame even the non incels here are spouting bullshit.

Singles mothers are down and oftentimes not even looking to get serious. They are regularly grouped as freeloaders (along with most women) and that just makes me wonder where you guys live that all these loser women are all you get to pick from.
