Oh hey, so that's where "Yours Truly, 2095" came from! The Megas did a cover of it, but I never heard the original before. I like the way this track sounds and I do enjoy concept albums (or at least the concept of concept albums), so I may try to listen to the album sometime. END THEORY: I like ballads, so I had to try a random song from the album and clicked "Here" & wow, I kinda love the instruments on that track. Kinda want to try some more songs on the album, as that song seems promising. I can't decide if I want to hear more from "Geogaddi" or not. Gyroscope was a miss for me, but I really like all the words you're using to describe the album? It's.. hard to guess if I'd enjoy the experience or not. Dark, lo-fi, and fuzzy are top-tier adjectives, but I hate repetition so... I dunno. Bjork is rather hit-or-miss for me, but Heirloom sounds pretty good! Some rather nice instruments here, I think I liked that one. Jesus Christ Superstar... it's a bit rough because I love Ted Neeley's performance of Gethsemane and really want to hear more of him, so I'd be unfairly biased against this version of the play for being Neeley-less. Although I'm pretty surprised Bohemian Rhapsody didn't get all 5 voters. Sorry, Queen's just one of those bands that I never really connected with. I know they're very talented and I've tried to get into their music since they seem like the literal definition of things I like, but they're just... fine? I don't dislike their music, but I'm not sure I'd really say I like any of the tracks I've heard? There's several that I kinda like, but... yeah. (The Who and The Doors are also in that sort of "popular late 60s & 70s classic rock music that I'm just not into" category.) I'm surprised my low score didn't tank Night At The Opera; I expected the "average without outliers" score would go up, but it'd still wind up in the same place. At over 70 minutes I just found my attention wandering by the last few songs. I'm pretty sure I enjoyed this more than you did, but I still kinda agree with this. I really like Robert Smith's voice & the moody instruments that accompany him, but the album feels quite long... like, I like every song on this album (even its worst is better than my favorite track on several albums), but marathoning them all in a row like this feels a bit exhausting.
